A game that got mentioned to me a while back and the company who prints it sent me some stuff to look at! Flesh and Blood is a slightly different sort of game, where there's no mana curve, no minions, only slobber-knocking!
"Flesh and Blood" is a 1-on-1 exchange of maneuvers that uses a payment system that results in your attacks losing power over time as your equipment breaks and your stronger cards get used up. It becomes a game less about accumulating resources and more about learning to pace yourself and exploit opportunities.

(Just a reminder, these "Talks about for a bit" are unscripted videos where I just kinda ramble about what I've got on my mind)
I dig the artwork and packaging for sure, clean looking cards
From NZ and been playing FAB since release and I can honestly say it is a fantastic game! (quit MTG in favour of it)
Few things to comment on what you mentioned:
- Arcane rising (the box you got sent) has 4 new heroes; Wizard, Runeblade, Mechonologist and Ranger. All fun and completely different from the first 4 while not being more/less powerful than them (give or take).
- The game has been great here and in other parts, NZ and Taiwan will be having the first nationals in a bit over a month from now. Legend Story Studios have done amazing in terms of support and have already had 2 major tournaments with $10,000 cash in prizes each.
- The newest set for the game releases in 3 weeks, it is 10 cards/booster, doesn't add any more heroes and instead builds on each hero adding more equipment and cards for each.
- The story behind this game is also amazing, in terms of the world building, check it out!
Hope to see more about FAB from content creators in other parts of the world! Great to see it spreading
I checked this out months ago and was hooked, really wish it could come to Europe!
Maaaaan imagine waiting for LatAm jajajaja

Have a 10k subscriber channel about cards and ask around if they want an episode on their new expansion.
Also the “small” deck is just supplemental to the ninja deck that they gave you. Just for some added variety because the ninja deck pretty popular.
The small deck is an intro deck for learn-to-play in order to introduce the game to people. Ira, the hero, is actually not legal in tournaments at the moment (though will be for the new Blitz format).
The ninja deck is a fully built constructed deck for casual play (doesn't have the higher rarities in it needed for competitive play). It can be played in events out of the box (though likely won't do too well).
In saying that, there are two cards in the ira and starter decks not found in the normal boosters, lunging press and springboard somersault.
This guy took the time to edit in stills of the cards for easier viewing.
I've been playing this a little bit. Just hero deck v hero deck. Regarding the attrition aspect: When we first started playing, the games would be long slogs. As we got better and watched a few videos we learned that it's really about filtering the deck and using the arsenal to set up massive turns. The studio has so hero deck videos and they really show off the strategy.
If you're out there watching this video and you think this game looks cool but you're not quite sure about it, I highly recommend you try it out for yourself!
WOAH! I open RUclips to do a search for Flesh and Blood and this video is on my home page.
The game has a pretty decent following at my LGS and I've been meaning to learn about it.
I heard that Dx2 music in the outro Kohdok you can't fool me
Thanks for talking about this! Definitely picking this up now
being colorblind is not easy to differentiate between the bar colors
I dig the artwork and packaging for sure
I've never seen this game in an LGS in the states. It's sort of interesting, but I can't see it taking off at any of the stores around me. I could see it sitting next to the unsold final fantasy and vanguard cards though.
Give it some time. Release around covid happening was unfortunate. But this is without a doubt in my mind the best card game out there right now. A lot of stores can't afford the risk of taking on a new game atm, but give it about a year. It also will not sit on shelves. First set is already sold out in the US, and they don't do small print runs like other niche games.
Mine just got it two weeks ago
The combat reminds me of Chaotic. The problem I had with that game was that I felt there wasn't much to do during the game, deckbuilding seemed to have more importance than piloting and adapting to the enemy. This game has a bigger deck, maybe that helps reduce the problem by adding more RNG. Seems interesting.
There is a new LCG from Brazil called Seven Galaxies I really like their machanics and the card art. I really recommend to you see this Card Game
Wish I could find these near me
I really enjoy playing this game. Every decision you make is all strategy and I love it!
Bro, are you okay? My house/room only looked like that when I was in a stage 5 depression
Thoughts on Keyforge?
you should take a look at vtm rivals, not vtm eternal struggle. it's a Kickstarter that is going on and will be out by December.
I've never played Flesh and Blood, but I assume Last Ditch Effort being super rare is kinda akin to Magic cards like One with Nothing or Happily Ever After that should take a back seat to more generic effects in draft.
Flesh and blood TCG makes me think of the Vampire the Masquerade TCG. Good game. Interesting mechanics.
Could use a bit of rules cleaning up and it is best for group play and not the standard 1v1 style most TCG/CCGs use.
Really interesting game but seems quite expensive to build a decent deck, at least from what I've seen... What do you think about that?
I went full heart of the cards on my first demo game.
It reminds me of Eredan, but with one character.
i'm still impressed that companies try to get out TCG games ... never seen this game around here in Germany nor in any online shop or any video on youtube about it :D
It's pretty new, it's from my country, New Zealand!
Is that a Pegatrix X Gillator and Howlkor x Ramparian I see?
I've been playing this game for several months now. What a rush it is.
Huh...I think I played this at codcon one year.
Would have been nice if you actually SHOWED how to play this game, one TCG sin for you!
The Ira welcome decks come with a "how to play" booklet, and each starter deck contains a rules booklet
@@einstein951 that's quite a bit if investment just to find on overview of how the game actually plays
@@CAMSLAYER13 welcome decks are free, bud

@@zacharymoore6451 well alright, that's cool. I don't think they have released this in my country judging by that site unfortunately
Well can't trust bakugan packs on Amazon cause they literally sold it for a box of 36 packs but some people are getting only 1 packs.
I’ve been meaning to draft this... but uhh yeah circumstances 😂
Any chance you could maybe do a review of Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic? :D (yes. its a real card game)
As a non obsessive brony, you have both my fear and curiosity
BOOMER: Playing magic cards again, son?
NON-BOOMER: It is not Magic: The Gathering, dad. It is a new game. It is Flesh and Blood.
BOOMER: What? Blood and Gore?
Box opening asmr anyone? Lmao
I thought my Dex was possessed & opened Dx2 remotely
I tried this game at my LGS once. Didn’t like it too well. Seemed like MtG stripped of everything but combat math.
I've noticed the gaming community seems to take masks more seriously than other groups of people. I guess that's because gamers value others more and are willing to take up a responsible demeanor.
When you look at it.
Frame design and artwork and compared it to some other tcg like Bakugan. You know that this is good tcg that's made with love.
Bakugan in other hand looks shit.
unobtainable in Europe
bro clean your house
Why does the name Flesh And Blood reminds me of a religious tcg?
www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john+6%3A51-58&version=NKJV
The name comes from that we want players to be able to play in the Flesh and Blood.
Kohdok talks about FFG games when?
So... it's History's Anachronism, minus the grid, meets SW CCG, with a hand resources instead of a force pile, in a generic Diablo-type setting.
Got it.
I understood some of these words
I think?
@@borrisderwutende7850 History Channel, yes the Pawn Stars channel, made a hybrid card/board game.
Basically, it took famous warriors and their weapons and let players try and kill one another. The board game aspect came in because the cards moved in a grid-like system where the weapons would be more or less effective depending on where the opponent was.
So, F&B looks like a simplified version of that.
Also, the original star wars CCG used a "cards in your deck are your resource" mechanic (quite well too). The difference was you put cards from your deck into a "force pile" then spent your force pile (creating a used pile). If you had cards left in your force pile, you got to draw as many as you wished.
So, F&B cuts out the force pile and has you directly pay for cards from your hand.
The Diablo remark is because F&B is tied into the Path of Exile game somehow. I'm not sure the exact connection, but I can track it down.
@@jonathantillian6528 so what you're saying is... it's a unique game that aside from maybe one thing in common from other obscure games individually.. has it's own flavor and mechanics. Got it.
I would definitely recommend trying the game 😬😬
@@quickestturtlez5362 Other than calling SWCCG obscure, sure.
It's a generic fantasy setting with some tried and working recycled mechanics.
Damn bro you live like this?
