I grew up in Nanticoke and spent a lot of time at the Buttonwood Yard. The picture that you put on this video reminded me of those times.

Great video AC I'm what you would call a big rail fan railroading is confusing but I love watching trains you were the one that introduced me to Taylor yard and train 11z some years ago and Taylor yard and train 11c are my favorites there used to be another guy that filmed train 11z but he since moved to Florida and does FEC now so keep me in mind when you do some videos.

AC pardon my question but when helpers are added to the lead engine who does that if another crew does who is in charge of train? Thanks for reading this.

You are along for the ride. You give them three-step and you or your conductor go up and give them a hand with the MU set-up. Once that is done, you cut out your brake stand and set it for trail before they cut in the air. They will dial in your marker and do an air test. Once they get to the place that they are finished, they will close the angle cocks, disconnect the hoses and MU cable and cut away. You will cut in your brakes, do the proper set and release and be on your way.
