Arika I so enjoy following along with you all. I'm planning for Father's day this week. Around 30 family and friends will be here after church. Doing burgers. Everyone brings their meat. Then we all bring sides. I'm doing 2 dips. Corn and Mexican taco dip. Pasta salad. Yoo-hoo homemade icecream and a Berry Cobbler. We will have a buffet of food lol. Pool looks great. We have been talking of getting one. We had one b4 buts it been awhile. I miss it. Look forward to your next vlog.

On the Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits are so good! Even the gluten free ones are good (I’m gluten intolerant)!I add garlic and herb seasoning g and mor cheese than what say say on the box to add. I put in my iron skillet and stick in oven to back. Yum! 👍👍👍👍

to me growing up the the country, nothing is worse than being soooooo hot and jumping into a pool thinking it is going to be cool almost cold to cool me off and it is the temp of bath water....swimming in creeks with trees shading it they stay so cool it spoils one for pools...like tepid water, yuk...give me cold any time.

The lumber at Home Depot and Lowe’s is horrible! You need to pick through dozens to maybe find one half-straight one! It’s aggravating because my husband is really picky when buying lumber.
Oh yes, I agree!! It took us a loooong time to find the ones worth buying. Even the worker was annoyed at how bad they were. Thankfully we did find enough for our project.

Yes squirrels scream when there’s a predator nearby, we have befriended a chipmunk that lives underground under our trailer home. We feed him peanuts and he comes up to us. He’s not a pet he is a wild chipmunk. It is a joy watching the squirrels and birds. ❤

The weather is crazy here in Canada. Cold one day hot and humid the next.
We’ve seen fireflies for a few weeks in eastern Ky! Was sitting here working on my grocery list for tomorrow and was glad you didn’t show anything I really wanted to add! lol thankful I don’t have a big list this week.

How exciting to start on the front flowerbed. I love spring and early summer. You can air the house out and the temperatures in the 70's are mind kind of days. I have always loved to play in the dirt. I love my flowers and garden, although it has to be a container garden now because of my age. I love your videos, Arika. What has happened to Jaxon's veggie pasta? Has he expanded his cuisine? Bless your sweet family.

the squirrels scream to warn other squirrels and birds about possible predators....you kitty being one they are most wary of...they also do when people are around a tree with a nest of baby squirrels...
Y’all carry on about that buble stuff! I found it on sale and got three flavors. I’ve tried SO hard to like it. I don’t. I just don’t. So it will go with the Gatorade flavor we don’t like to a food donation site. I have some other things I’ve picked up intentionally to donate so it’s not an unintentional trip. Someone will like them I’m sure. At least it’s sun tea season! I will be making a second jar tomorrow. No sugar, just tea. So long as I have a ton of ice I will drink tea or iced water all summer long and far into fall. Not crazy about making it with hot water tho.Is there a difference?
Oh I agree about the Bubly. Marion loves it, but I can't stand it! I also don't like tea at all so I'm not sure if hot or cold is better!

Yes it was like that when we bought it. I guess they are all different, but it is nice that it's up high so it is easy on Marion's back.😀

Thanks! They are the Paula Deen brand. She makes them in several colors. We got them a few years ago at Ollie's, but I've seen them in her store too.
Sometimes you just need a quiet weekend to regroup. That’s great Marion really enjoys woodworking projects so that they’re not chores for him. Such an amazing talent to have.

We have a neighbor who pulls up late blasting his music. Another neighbor has a macaw that makes a sound like a screaming woman. I guess things could be worse! That’s what we tell ourselves.

Speaking of Patrick I saw him one Saturday at Ollie’s. My husband was like isn’t that Patrick from the RUclips show you watch, I was like yeahhh. I was too scared to even say anything because I couldn’t stop staring Lol. It was like we saw a celebrity or something 😂 It was good seeing him in person.

I hardly ever shop at Walmart for a large grocery hauls anymore. We go to Winco if we had an Aldi I would definitely go there. Also to save you some money grab your meats from Sam’s. You can always divide them. Paper towels ,toilet paper are cheaper and you won’t have to always buy the two packs.
I just have seen your grocery hauls a lot lately and I’m always saying Oh she should have got that at Sam’s 😊 I hope this helps.
I'm curious: What is that big block by the trampoline?
It's a cap on an old well. Our house is pretty old and was originally on well water. It always made a great step for getting on the trampoline.😀
Wood working, landscaping timbers, soil. I’m guessing raised flower bed along the front of the house.
