Oh Arika, this was an excellent video. My 20 year old son had me and all of us trying to get the engine out of his truck and once out, the engine hoist fell on his left thumb. He is ok and only had a cut but I am his momma and he is worrying the you-know-what out of me. He will absolutely fix this truck his dad bought as his daddy helped him put in a transmission on it back in 2020 and his daddy wrote I love you 2020. His daddy passed away Feb 2024 so my son will not get rid of this truck. I just need to calm down. Excellent video and it did give me cleaning motivation for sure.

We were so scared in North Florida. But again God was good and we didn’t get very much rain at all or wind off of Debby. Loved your signs. The wedding is going to be so gorgeous. I live in North Florida. Debby came directly over us. We got nearly 17" of rain. There are lots of trees down and lots of flooding. I'm praying it's not too bad for yall 🙏.

Not sure if you were aware of it but with those white foam boards from Dollar Tree, you can take off the paper backing to it and your cricut transfers might be easier to apply.

I did the same thing with the dishwasher soap, switched back to the liquid because the pods weren’t dissolving

Heard the same thing about dishwasher detergent pods- I only use powder or gel
I am so envious of the rain you got! Everyone around us seems to get it, but it always misses us! I live on Cape Cod, as soon as any weather hits the canal, it changes. As a result, we miss all the rain and remain bone dry all spring and summer.

We have had a mixture of weather here this summer. One day rain, the next sunshine! I really needed the cleaning motivation Arika. It’s been a difficult few months but things are getting better. I’ve stopped baking as much but I do love Jane Asher fudge cake! Looking forward to your next video. ❤
Hey Arika, Thank You so much for sharing part of the wedding planning with us. I have 2 sons 1 my eldest married . They went to the court house alone and married as it is what they wanted and my youngest son is 27 and with a precious young lady I’m Praying that this is the one. I also hope if so there will be an actual Wedding. I know it’s up to them but my heart sure would love to see a Wedding with at least one of them. You are so busy, I got my children, when they were at High School, to make a meal a week. We did eat a lot of Chicken Curry, and Bolognaise! I also got them to do dome washing, great life skills when they went flatting.

We just rescued a tuxedo kitten last week. Our big cat passed back in May. He is so sweet and lovable. Of course, we can’t agree on a name. His shelter name was Rocky. I want to name him Lincoln. One daughter wants to name him Gary and my other daughter likes Oslo (we have a gray cat named London). Goodness, we may have to pick a name from a hat! Or let him pick the name!

One of these days I will learn how to use an air frier. I have a small one, but should be fine for 2. Would make a meal like you fixed easier, not heat up the kitchen.

Great video thanks for sharing . That tropical Debbie has been one bad system when it hit us my phone went off at 2 in the morning and it was on . One tornado behind the other and flash flooding . We were blessed in my area that we didn't have any damage. I'm the same way I can't even go to bed if my kitchen is out of order . ❤

As I was watching this video we where getting rain from Debby too in S.C.
My dishwasher has died and not getting another for a few months until we get the kitchen floor redone. But I did read that the pods were clogging things up. I also read that the pods were messing the washing machines up. I have a few small packs of those pods but I don’t use them at home I take on vacation and use or will use at the laundry mat when I take my rugs.. That’s mean.
We leave for Myrtle in about 3 weeks and our dinners are simple. Although today I have a pot of half runner beans on and the works because my mother in law (90) says she hasn’t had a good home cooked meal in forever lol.
Labor Day we usually do a big cookout but it’s even simple lol
Clyde cracks me up. He’s the protector of the groceries and your bed lol

Question
Why don’t you get the majority of your items from Aldi to save you money. I know some stuff you can only get at Walmart or Sam’s but from what I seen in your hauls Aldi would be cheaper. I’m just wondering. And also there are weekly sales at other grocery stores that would be much more cheaper than Walmart. I do t shop Walmart grocery very much I just find cheaper at other places.
Catering is so very expensive food has gone up in price so much.
