- Spongebob Squarepants POV, Rock Bottom Plunge Roller Coaster Front Row On-Ride, 4K 60fps, Mall of America Nickelodeon Universe. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota, right next to Minneapolis, Nick Universe is inside the center of the Mall of America & features multiple roller coasters (5 total). Our favorite ride proved to be Avatar Airbender, the Intamin-built halfpipe located centrally inside the indoor theme park. The area also holds a shooting dark ride, log flume, and plenty of flat rides. #RollerCoaster #MallofAmerica #ThemePark #AmusementPark
The Mall of America makes a great full-day destination and we'll be back for more, we loved the amusement park and our time inside. We recommend visiting on the weekdays for short lines and a good time at the mall. Check out The Fair, a nice bar and eatery nearby to Nickelodeon Universe, a good stop for lunch.

Indoor roller coasters is such a genius move. Never have to worry about the weather.
Maintenance is reduced by half, a really smart thing.

Especially in Minnesota too, avoid the winters and can stay open all year
Even though the coaster might seem slow and tame, the scary part is taking those inversions that slow. The top speed of the first drop is only 44mph and I am sure the rest of the coaster is about half that.
When I was there the ride went way faster. And we stopped right at the top before the drop.
Looks fun to me!
It was also scary because it would start shaking and rocking on the first drop
You should go on rip ride rockit at universal if you ever go if you thought this was scary

When I rode back in June we flew threw the mid course and it was awesome
only gives you minor neck pain after the fact lol
This SpongeBob Rock Bottom Plunge Ride gives me the vibes of this one SpongeBob episode where SpongeBob and Patrick facing their fears riding the coasters at Glove World .
The climb and loops aren’t that bad, it’s that feeling you get in your stomach when you first drop

The head-chopper effect on the drop is pretty cool, it looks like the lift hill barely has room up at the catwalks
that block zone slows it down soo much :(
I used to be so scared of this ride when I was little but I went on it it actually wasn't that bad 😅
I went on when I was in like second grade or something because my mom convinced me it wouldn't be bad- it would be fun like the Pepsi one. I got on and was bawling my eyes out. I walked off that coaster a different child. Anyway, I like roller coasters now! a trip to bush gardens VA fixed me right up lol
i did it with my girlfriend bc she forced me and i was so scared my whole life to do it and i did it and it’s so fun like i did it almost 19 times
That’s a cool and scary roller coaster. I like the looks of the lift hill.

They are also in French on the bottom left, so probably in Spanish out of shot too

I was pretty nervous to ride this because my brother had told me it was pretty bumpy and uncomfortable, but once I went on it…Definitely not my favorite coaster I’ve been on, but still very fun. Reminded me of the Monster at Adventureland, IA. (My hometown park. ❤️)
My favorite one is the spongebob plunge rock bottom when I went there 2/3 years ago. Going there again at the end of this month.

It’s so weird looking at the video when in reality when you’re actually on the coaster you feel really nervous and it’s not that quiet there is screams of terror and it’s really fast😂

I went here with my lil cousin and she was 6 and she didn’t even make a face on this ride while I was screaming and laughing I think she was traumatized.

Go on Kingda Ka, that one is scary. It’s the most legendary ride of all time and will forever be known as the greatest ride ever. It’s 456 feet.
I went on this with my friend 7 times today and its so fun, at on point no one else was in line because its a monday so we were the only people on it.
First roller coaster ever at 10 and I passed out 5 times. From that day on I never trusted my aunt again 😂😂

Try out the skateboard ride first, it has lots of those drops so the time you go on rock bottom plunge the drop will be fun
