- This video shows how to install and bleed the new RockShox Reverb dropper seat post on a bike. It goes through how to feed the cable housing through the bike frame. How to cut the RockShox cable housing, and attach the barb for installation into the dropper trigger. Lastly, I show how to bleed the air from the dropper post if it starts to become squishy or spongy and won't stay up all the time.

This should be official installation guide!
The best illustrative step by step tutorial out there!!! Thanks a lot! Not even the official SRAM TECH videos are this good!
Thank you so much! Your video was better than SRAM's official one and way, way better than following their tedious and truly awful manual. I really appreciate that you described the tools that came with the Reverb, especially the valve venter.
Direct and step by step. Awesome vid.
Remove the old seat post, thats what I was doing wrong 🤣 Good info on the bleed, I like the use of two syringes. Got to try that with brake bleeds next time. Also looks like this uses 2.5 weight fork oil and you can also use 5 weight. Thats good as I have a bunch of 5 weight for fork services. Good video.
Great video. Succinct and to the point. Thank you.
Hey good video, I did the same but my dropper won’t come up after one time. Then it just locks. Do you know what to do?
You may need to add air to the seat post. The valve is under the seat to check the pressure. Another issue is if your seat post clamp is too tight, try loosening it a little and try again.
Will this remote work on both left and right side of the handlebar?
No
Thanks! 🙏
After the bleeding the dropper wil go once to the ground en up en then it locks en won’t come down
Check that your seat post clamp isn't too tight.
