I think the flying content and pics looks really good. I don't like to be overly critical when seeing images that I'll probably never see in person. I'm just in awe and appreciate someone taking the time to show it to the world. It looks amazing!

Wow stunning footage there! Well I got myself a min i4K and the mavic air 2 as it was going cheap! They don't do the mavic 2 air anymore but the beauty of the dji drones is there are always parts ect to be had on the net ,and it came with some great camera extras. I had a set budget so the mini four was a bit over my budget at the moment. Anyway I shall have a frog sometime though most of the minis have a look of a frog. I bought an opening and closing landing gear for mine; for situations like you have had in the snow, or don't have a landing matt. And if all fails, hand launch! I am waiting for some good snow some morning, and get into the rolling hills of the Scottish borders for filming. Beautiful scenery there Victoria. Love out from the Scottish borders. 🙂

Your color grading is great, your flying is great, love how you mix still photographs with video footage, and your storytelling is always great. Regarding laughing at your own jokes, I often do that too, and also laugh a lot, because I am a happy person and I enjoy life. I would sometimes reassure people that I was not laughing AT them - rather, I was laughing WITH them. I hope that your cold heals fast! Best Regards!
Thank you! Not too sure what you mean about waypoints? Like mapping a flight path? If so, no I just fly with how I feel. I also update my home point regularly as I walk a little bit whilst flying 🙂

We did the Gornergrat railway last year, but in the summer so missed the lovely snow. One of our daughters lives not far from there and we visit Switzerland often. I haven’t taken my drone (same as yours) as I always thought the Swiss were quite restrictive where you can fly - as you say lots of helicopters in the mountains. Where did you find out about the drone restrictions and how easy/hard was it taking your drone through the airport etc…? I love the videos and photos and I’d say they are definitely getting better as you get more practice. They look smooth to me, the drone does a great job of stabilisation so I don’t think there is anything wrong with your joystick control. I always fly with thumbs..😊 For good advice on technique I like watching The Drone Creative on RUclips.
It has performed great so far, I think it was more of myself getting cold first before the drone did and it also performed great at high altitude (over 3000m). I think I was in temperatures between -3 to -7 (not in this vlog) and it operated great with no issues 🙂✌🏻

Great video. Your drone footage looks very professional with smooth camera movement. Just wondering about your photos, did you shoot them in 16:9 ratio? Because you might benefit from changing it to 4:3, so your image isn't cropped in the top and bottom. But it's a matter of taste, I guess :)

Love watching your videos, I'm a photographer and have a DJI mini 2, after a year of owning it i still get the nervousness of feeling its going to fly away😅Drones have given us such a great expansion of our viewpoints I'm still getting to grips with it. Hope you did not get too much hot aches with your hands at the start of the episode. They looked really cold. One tip for my drone, that I discovered on a Peter McKinnon vlog was to ditch the drone prop protector plastic thingie, and replace it with a piece of bungee cord and a plastic springy dongle. I found the DJI prop protector to be a PITA when trying to attach it. However the bungee loop took seconds to secure the props. Have you experimented with any parallax shots yet? I get all excited if I manage to pull one of these “Bad Boy” out of the bag. Enjoy the snow because I miss playing out in it but I still remember the childlike enthusiasm every time I went on the hill to play.
Thank you very much for this! and driving was ok, I was a little nervous but the roads in both Switzerland and France are cleared really well, they are both very good and efficient at clearing the roads. I don't know if I would like to drive in deep winter but this was ok. Hi Victoria, excellent footage again with the drone, superb pictures from RAW. D-LOGM is like RAW it has more colours. I think you have your fps to high which courses the slightest staggering in the videos for RUclips try lower fps to 30fps 4K 1/60. This what I use all the time with ND filters,even for slow filming, Other than that you are learning fast Keep on flying!
Thank you very much, and yes I am pretty impressed with the quality. With regards to the frame rate, I think it’s an exporting issues but I adjust all the clips to play at 24p as that is what my vlog footage is at and yes I know about the shutter speed rule as well. I am mixing a lot of different footage at different framerates, it’s smooth on my laptop so I think it’s either an exporting thing or a viewer thing? I shoot my slow motion footage on my camera at 120p and that plays smooth so I don’t think it is a youtube issues and it played smoothly for me as well. I quite like shooting at 60fps so I think i’ll keep it that was and just see what is happening from the viewers perspective 🙂✌🏻
I was just having a look at the video through RUclips and the footage was jumpy when watching on a resolution less then 1080p but ok otherwise, so maybe double check the quality you are viewing it in 🙂✌🏻

It’s not that you are filming in 60fps sorry for that, it’s to do with 24fps it has low frame rate makes the video jerks where if reduced to only 30fps makes video more smoothly, or you don’t reduce the frame rate and keep it at 60fps from video and editing to export onto RUclips.
Hey, yeah I have tried all alternatives and changed (not reduced) to 30fps does not work, i’ve tried it, and leaving it at 60fps on a 24p timeline also does not work as it makes it play too quickly. So the only option is to change it to 24p. The video is not jerky from what I am seeing so must be something on your end
