Not exactly what was coming, but they knew it was coming from a young lady that was unconventional and surprising. In a time when bigger is better Angelina comes along and singing as quiet as a church mouse, mesmerizes her audience an emotion filled song that the last time it was a hit was 30 years before Angelina was born and when Simon was 15 years old. Nobody was disappointed. Staying true to the original melody Angelina slowed it way down and emphasized things a bit differently turned an old song into a refreshed new arrangement that high-lights today's issues. Starting softly Angelina and her arrangement, soon had us soaring with held high notes then brings us safely back to ground with a long run that had thrilled right to the end. Then she brought us back to the beginning with a clever ending that gave a nod to Sara Bareilles arrangement, but finished it as only this wonderchild can do. So in two minutes, or less, we all had a wonderful ride. She never ceases to amaze, both as a manipulator of music in a new way and as a singer whose voice is so sublime, it moves people to tears. She is one of my three favorite singers, along with the Kazakh wonder and fellow 14 year older Daneliya Tuleshova, and the best female vocalist on the planet Morissette of the Philippines. You're braver than me to go skydiving but what I did was volunteer to go off to a war zone in Southeast Asia. Thank God I survived that and it gave me confidence that I could do anything. Except jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Both Jordans are wonderful and hypnotic.

I don't call it courageous, more instinct. I pulled a baby from a burning car that was trapped in the back seat after a truck hit the car. That was over 25 years ago and I attended the childs wedding in 2018 as a guest. This is by far the best cover version EVER of this song.

You have done 4 or5 now but you still haven't heard her full capabilities. You won't know her full range of talent till you hear about a half dozen more. It has been said that music is medicine for the soul. I think Angelina is the maximum strength, prescription level form of that medicine. However you feel before listening to Angelina, you will feel better after listening to her. And the best part... she has given us so much incredible music that you can listen to her for hours without even repeating a song ;)
I just find it most interesting when other reactors to AJ make the statement that she knows how to pick a song that suits her voice. At that point you understand they have not explored her other performances, if they had, they would know she has no boundaries. AJ takes any song, no matter what the genre and make it her own.

That would be true if Angelina sang one type of music, but she doesn’t do that. With her personal, game-changing arrangements of classic songs, it’s really her voice that makes the songs-and makes her performances so mesmerizing and hypnotic. She seemingly can sing anything. She has shown us that she can choose songs in many genres and Angelina-ize them. Angelina is a child prodigy. You just don't come up with jazzy and bluesy riffs like that at the age of 13 out of nowhere. This child is at another level. Her voice almost brings you to tears, it's so soulful and almost other worldly. God keep her safe and protect her so that we may all benefit. She's a blessing to everyone who has the privilege of hearing her interpretation of a song.
I noticed you did this a couple years ago, so hope you will see this but wanted to comment regardless because so fitting that Angel is in her name cause her voice is so Angelic. That is actually what she calls her fans "Angels". I have a hard time keeping it together hearing her sing but I really had a tough time with this video! And by this video I mean THIS VIDEO, your video because of course there is Angelina's voice that's a given to grab anybody's soul but OMG your eyes have the same kind of affect on a person! I am saying this as a compliment and respectfully, but towards the end of the video you come in close to the camera, and between Angelina's voice and your eyes, I thought I had died and went to heaven! AJ is an amazing human being. She speaks 4 languages, English not being her first. Plays 4 or 5 different instruments, arranges her own music and writes originals. "What is Life " being one of her best. Her Grandmother is a renowned Iranian artist, together they designed(influenced by Grandmother's art work) and made some of her clothing she wears while performing. At a much earlier age, she saw a girl with no shoes, after giving the girl her shoes, she swore never to perform onstage again with shoes. That is why she performs barefoot. Oh yes, and she paints as well. One of my favorite artists in this day and age. The other being Chris Stapleton (might want to check out his new song "Cold"). You have Country, Blues, Soul, Rock and Pop then you have AJ and CS. Great reaction on your part.
A couple of things. You said that you could hear a "pin drop" when she performs, and you are right on. Howie's comment after this performance reflects that. To paraphrase Howie: 'If I had to use one word to describe you it's "hypnotic". When you sing I can't hear anything around me; I'm drawn completely to You.' And so is the entire audience, and all of us. Concerning how relaxed and easy it all seems when she performs, you are also right. But this comes from hours and hours of focus, determination, and dedication to her craft. So when she steps on the stage, what we see is confidence and control, because she has put in the time and work to master the performance she is ready to give. Great innate talent, no doubt. But also willing to work very, very hard to be the best she can be. Angelina would probably say it's not work at all doing the thing you love to do most in life. We should all be so fortunate. But the most courageous thing I have done is to get married and introduce two beautiful small humans into this world.

Hello from The Shire...The bravest and hardest thing I have ever done was asking my redheaded wife to marry me...She and I were friends for years before we started dating, she and I met while we were both married to others and the friendship happened after both our divorces, about a year apart. We helped each other stay sane by talking on the phone, sometimes for hours after our kids went to bed...We even tried to find the other a spouse...Somewhere in here I realized I was in love with her...I finally screwed my courage up and asked her out on a date, she immediately said yes...We went out on the October 7th 1994...In November I asked her to be my wife and she said "Yes" even before I got the question out...lol...She told me that it took me long enough and that she was gonna ask me that night if i didn't ask her...I was covered in sweat during the proposal...
You really made me think with this question my friend but I would say with my ex, at one point she brings up that if we were to get married I would have to convert..she mentions this after a year and a half of dating. I struggled back and forth with it for a bit but at the end of the day I told her this is me either take it or leave it cause I’m not changing for no one. It took so much courage for me to do that because I had genuinely loved her with everything in me but we also must love ourselves first and had I agreed to convert then I wouldn’t have been truly loving myself because it would have changed who I am. So I would say that was my courageous moment in my life was denying my deep love for someone I adored because I was not going to change the foundation of who I am. I noticed you did this a couple years ago, so hope you will see this but wanted to comment regardless because so fitting that Angel is in her name cause her voice is so Angelic. That is actually what she calls her fans "Angels". I have a hard time keeping it together hearing her sing but I really had a tough time with this video! And by this video I mean THIS VIDEO, your video because of course there is Angelina's voice that's a given to grab anybody's soul but OMG your eyes have the same kind of affect on a person! I am saying this as a compliment and respectfully, but towards the end of the video you come in close to the camera, and between Angelina's voice and your eyes, I thought I had died and went to heaven! Lol I have never seen more beautiful eyes. Thank you for a great reaction video (and not just because of what I complimented on) and look forward to more. Angelina is iconic and I love that her family isn't rushing things and allowing her to still be a kid!

AJ is an amazing human being. She speaks 4 languages, English not being her first. Plays 4 or 5 different instruments, arranges her own music and writes originals. "What is Life " being one of her best. Her Grandmother is a renowned Iranian artist, together they designed(influenced by Grandmother's art work) and made some of her clothing she wears while performing. At a much earlier age, she saw a girl with no shoes, after giving the girl her shoes, she swore never to perform onstage again with shoes. That is why she performs barefoot. Oh yes, and she paints as well. One of my favorite artists in this day and age. The other being Chris Stapleton (might want to check out his new song "Cold"). You have Country, Blues, Soul, Rock and Pop then you have AJ and CS.

A couple of things. You said that you could hear a "pin drop" when she performs, and you are right on. Howie's comment after this performance reflects that. To paraphrase Howie: 'If I had to use one word to describe you it's "hypnotic". When you sing I can't hear anything around me; I'm drawn completely to You.' And so is the entire audience, and all of us. Concerning how relaxed and easy it all seems when she performs, you are also right. But this comes from hours and hours of focus, determination, and dedication to her craft. So when she steps on the stage, what we see is confidence and control, because she has put in the time and work to master the performance she is ready to give. Great innate talent, no doubt. But also willing to work very, very hard to be the best she can be. Angelina would probably say it's not work at all doing the thing you love to do most in life. We should all be so fortunate. Answer to your question: I have sailed across oceans in a small boat, flown acrobatics in a small plane, biked down Death Road in Bolivia, crawled through caves, paddled a canoe in the Amazon in in the darkest night with alligator eyes glowing all around, played a rock concert in Afghanistan during wartime and free dived in freezing waters, among other things. But the most courageous thing I have done is to get married and introduce two beautiful small humans into this world.

Dear Schnell, PLEASE react to Angelina sing a shortened Always On My Mind as she dedicated it to her recently passed grandfather so she finally broke & couldn't finish. Just be sure to have tissues ready. And Heidi was partially happy because she gave Angelina the golden button at her audition song. As for courage, I didn't give it a thought when it happened but my neighbor thanked me for blocking a vicious dog from continuing to drag her youngest daughter across the yard by her clothes, then after it let go I got it to run away and picked up the girl & took her inside her house. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

OK Angelino has a great voice for singing, but first things in her voice and a unique that cannot be copied
She sings from her spirit to your spirit and makes you feel the words that song, the story telling everything is magical with her voice with her voice

Any friend of Angelina's is a friend of mine! She and Aurora are my favorites. Beautiful young ladies, awesome talents, and wonderful human beings. As an old man, I view them as a proud and protective grandfather would.

The most courageous thing I ever did was get on the roof of my detached garage and shingle it myself since I am scared to death of heights going up the ladder was not too bad as long as I didn't look down coming down the ladder was a nightmare

Hello from The Shire...The bravest and hardest thing I have ever done was asking my redheaded wife to marry me...She and I were friends for years before we started dating, she and I met while we were both married to others and the friendship happened after both our divorces, about a year apart. We helped each other stay sane by talking on the phone, sometimes for hours after our kids went to bed...We even tried to find the other a spouse...Somewhere in here I realized I was in love with her...I finally screwed my courage up and asked her out on a date, she immediately said yes...We went out on the October 7th 1994...In November I asked her to be my wife and she said "Yes" even before I got the question out...lol...She told me that it took me long enough and that she was gonna ask me that night if i didn't ask her...I was covered in sweat during the proposal...
You really made me think with this question my friend but I would say with my ex, at one point she brings up that if we were to get married I would have to convert..she mentions this after a year and a half of dating. I struggled back and forth with it for a bit but at the end of the day I told her this is me either take it or leave it cause I’m not changing for no one. It took so much courage for me to do that because I had genuinely loved her with everything in me but we also must love ourselves first and had I agreed to convert then I wouldn’t have been truly loving myself because it would have changed who I am. So I would say that was my courageous moment in my life was denying my deep love for someone I adored because I was not going to change the foundation of who I am.
Having said all that lol, this is one of my favorite songs by sir Elton John and Angelina absolutely did the song justice such a gorgeous rendition of a timeless classic. Great reaction Schnell! All love ❤️

One of the most wonderful Things i have done in my Life was to go to her magic country norway with a small sailing ship from Germany to a Fjord in the south of norway in only one week. At the end the Fog disappeared and we arrived a wonderful Magic country. Therefore i love her own Song :Oslo so much. It's a wonderful magic song, which shows her Love to her hometown. Schnell, wonderful reaction. Really! You've graduated to the next level. Many of us are at the stage whereby we think of, and listen to, Angelina everyday of our lives. And, we do it "effortlessly" to coin a phrase :) Of course we are all frustrated by the virus. It's a way of life we have to cope with right now. We haven't heard anything new from Angelina in a while but, believe me, she is doing her thing and when the time comes, get ready for a musical explosion from Angelina. But, in the meanwhile, we listen to her vast collection of video's. Schnell, have you ever known an artist where you can listen to her sing the same song over and over again? I'm talking about hundreds of times! And, actually get emotional each time? It's crazy! But, we know why it happens. Her voice touches our heart and soul and the connection is permanent. Everyday I introduce Angelina to someone who doesn't know her and it's one of the joys of my life. Schnell, I've listened to you sing and you are very good. Like Angelina you are very sweet and that's the ultimate compliment. Good luck with your career and thank you for spending time with us doing these reactions.
