- Heyy mochi here, I’ve always wanted to share my memories and daily life so I decided to start RUclips. Took me sometime to make this but I’m proud 😹

Maimai community is so wholesome! Started maimai since March [now 12k rating], the players were very welcome to help me git gud when I first started out
maimai changed my life too, i get to be more social and go outside more thats not just going to school, been playing since may 15 2023 at festi and ive never been more happy since, im glad to meet people in my community

Nonichi desu! I also started less than 2 years ago. I heard about maimai from a video talking about why pandora paradoxxx should've been in arcaea, and checked out what that level is. when i see how intense pandora is, i immediately had a goal. checked out the arcade and found the cab and someone playing it. he was really kind letting me try it but he noticed i didnt have a card nor gloves, so he took me to the counter to buy me a brand new aime card, and gave me his gloves :"D
he taught me how to play the basics and i immediately asked for pandora. yeah my first attempt wasnt great but then afterwards i just kept playing. the next day, i apparently met malaysia's top maimai player who was doing pandora remas ap at the time, and he and his friend group taught me things on how to play maimai efficiently🎉
i actually reached 14k after a few months in maimai but because of uni and travelling, i wasnt able to play maimai for a good part of 2023 so i just stayed that ranking until i started going again this year. i reached 14.5k around june 2024 and now im standing on 14557 rating on the new update. because its my sem break, im gonna push it to 15k as im well overdue =w=

great journey vid, i've been playing at end of 2022 too but no dx so we been struggle with finale, goes to different city bc work and found myself deluxe and been playing for 8 months now.
joined couple of venue community, and made lots of friend and stuck at 13/13+ i want to improve more so i back to root.

ive started playing maimai this February 2024 (on my birthday) after finally giving in to temptation of seeing them play it every time i pass by the mall arcade
im 300 ratings away from 10k, and i can really feel the learning curve being there 😅 but it's still fun nonetheless and i hope it gets better from here on!

I started playing maimai October of 2023, because of peer pressure, they immediately let me play on expert mode (like wtf man). Started playing on master 2 months after, I wasn't having it. But It was the connecting slides (ex: kuraberrarekko mas chorus) that made me hooked to the game, like its so cool and shit I persevered then I hit 12.9k before buddies. And ye got discouraged because I'm back at 8k (13k never), now it was delayed sliders that made me go bonkers (thank you umiyuri). Now I'm sitting in 14k (he did it), learning to do trills and 2 arm spins. Obviously didn't got any internal bleeding in my finge-

I discovered maimai during my trip in China and then Thailand a few months ago, I played it cause it looked fun, now i can't wait to go there again to play ! I'm moving to China so i'll have many more occasion to play, cause i don't have any Maimai arcade anywhere near my city 🥲

Girl, I Got 281 Play Count and I've Only Played The Game For Almost 8 Months (Tbh We're On The Same Pace But I'm a Broke High School Student So It Doesn't Count). And One of My Friends That Only Played This Game For Only 2 Months Has a Higher Play Count Than Us

Nice video. I am a guy from Kuwait who is studying in Malaysia, currently at 13.6k, who just finished 3rd year. I want to get 15k, but I don't know if I should work for it cuz I have FYP and stuff to worry about, then just go back to Kuwait after final year. I feel like I could make it to 15k, but then I would solely be playing only for rating and not the songs I wanna play (getting 15k would be realy cool tho). Also there's no maimai in Kuwait (astrodx cope is real)
Also I remember struggling on armageddon expert too when I was 12k that really sucked
@@ibis3065 don’t push yourself to the limits, do what you want to do instead of forcing yourself to get higher ratings. Actually the higher your ratings are the harder you’ll get ratings, play songs that you want to and improve on the songs that you are good at, that’s how you actually get ratings. Making to 15k really takes a lot of time ( unless you’re good at all charts and have a ton of money 😭 ) 15k is cool but it means that you can play higher lvl charts ‼️I recommend taking your time and learning more about different charts, good luck and I’m sure you’ll make it !!
