Some sweet upgrades! Nicely done....just finished a few upgrades myself...the Burris SS-33A (Slick) tire is a really nice ride if you're ever looking for a new slick tire. Carves really nice. Love the final look of your board. Quality Upgrades!!
Nice video man! Where’d you get the checkered fender cover? I like how it goes in between the flight fender and fin, rather than inside the flight fenders.
I tested mine and found the bottom screws are approx 2nm and the top screws at 1.5nm. Note that there was significant variations so I doubt a torque wrench was used in the factory.
THAT BOARD IS BADASS!!!! ... ... except, I feel, the fender should have been changed as well, to really match the sheer awesomeness of the rest of the board's color design - a solid silver with some subtle red highlights. I LOVE the Rail!! I have been wondering if anyone has created OW+ XR rails with running led lights under the rail?? :)
I believe that the stock frames are aluminum as well if I recall. No I dont recall them being much lighter. But that wasn’t the intention of them. They are to add a little length so you can fit a slightly bigger tire,
Nice build, however i don't get it whats the point of float plates, because you can get bumper parts from future motion also. The regular bumpers are wearable part, so you added extra wear part and weight for no reason. That is only thing i would just leave off and put fangs minis v2 instead. In any case, inspiring video about the flight frame. Happy trails.
Myself personally I'd do anything to Strengthen/Upgrade/Protect my O.W+XR without having to hack or DIY anything. Just like Float Plates. Fangs I'm a bit hesitant about because some of them do require a little DIY.
Yes, the stock bumper that comes on the Onewheel does a great job at protecting the battery and all of the electronics. However, for most, there is a slight learning curve and during that time you are almost guaranteed to scratch the heck out of the factory bumpers and stuff. If I had known what I know now when I first bought the XR, I would not have ridden it until I put FloatPlates and some Sidekicks.
If you open nearly everything up, I would have gone a step further and changed those bearings. They look really dirty from the outside and it would taken your ride to a smoother level. But it's nevertheless a great video
Love your video and no insult to you or what you did but just a remark to the company that made those new rails, having polished aluminum is a oxymoron for a OW. Would be interesting to see how it would look with the clear enamel slide protection for the rails. Using the clear enamel worked great for my white vinyl wrapped XR. The white came thru.
@@AdiusOmega honest and fair question at least that's how I assume you meant it. when you ride one Wheels you eventually roll it or slide it or crash it or get hit by something, or for a select few roll it off the end of a bike trail and in to a river. point is your gently going to be riding over some form of rock weatherby concrete asphalt or some Rocky trail. Your rails are going to get scratched unless they're protected with enamel sliders. Aftermarket. Experienced rider know having chrome or polished rails is like trying to keep your boat from getting wet in water. Feel free to add anything I missed Guys an Gale's.
You stepping on your onewheel voids the warranty lmao.... Hell it be alot easier in them telling you how to keep your warranty don't buy one They make it damn near impossible to do nothing but void the warranty ONEWHEEL is a joke they need to step up an do a better job
Looks badass!😲🎉💥🤘
Thank you!
'Respect' Bay Area FPV. That looks a Beaut.
AWESOME!🤘🏽😎, love it when plan comes together, that chrome is a good look
Looks good wasn't sure when I saw the green with the red but came together nice. Just one thing you should do is black out the front foot pad.
SO COOL! Strong work man
Thank you
Awesome custom board!! Excellent video👍🏻!!
Thank you
Looks so nice

Nice, Cool to see how its just a wheel bolted to a frame looks good
Nice video man! Where’d you get the checkered fender cover? I like how it goes in between the flight fender and fin, rather than inside the flight fenders.
It was the original Flight Fender. Perhaps the have a few left over. I’d reach out to them and ask.
Love the look of the flight frames!! I got ideas now
Nice rehab. Great video TS!
Thanks Dan
Where can I purchase the flight frame?? It looks awesome!! I can’t seem to find it on their website or anywhere else. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the video, I'd recommend a torque wrench though to get it factory spec
Where can the factory torque settings be found???
I tested mine and found the bottom screws are approx 2nm and the top screws at 1.5nm. Note that there was significant variations so I doubt a torque wrench was used in the factory.

Damn! That's fire 🔥
Thank you! It was a labor of love.
@@BayAreaFPV that's what's up 💯
Great video. Was that a stripped thread at 2:39? & thats why you had to use a knife? I got float plates and am worried about stripped threads. Thanks
Imran Khan Thanks! No it wasn’t stripped, there was just dirt caked in the screw head so I was using the knife to break it up. :)
Are the aluminum flightframes you put on noticeably lighter in weight than the blue stock frames from OW?
I believe that the stock frames are aluminum as well if I recall. No I dont recall them being much lighter. But that wasn’t the intention of them. They are to add a little length so you can fit a slightly bigger tire,
sick man .....nice looking!
Looks amazing. Love the vans style checkers on your fender. How are the flight fins?
Nice job
What psi are you running? Sick ride brotha
30psi and thank you
Nice!!
why would you use float plates and a bumper?
Turned out beautiful!
Magnifique !
Thank you
He just made my dream One wheel 🤤
sick

Hows that fender in wet conditions?
The fender is great is all conditions that I have ridden in which includes a little drizzle / wet road
Great video...with the new Flight Frame are the hole just as easy to strip out or have they put treads in there?
they said they gave it deeper threads to prevent stripping
Nice board !!

Whats the tire slime for?
In case you run over something that would have normally resulted in a flat.
Does the stock bumper cover the battery ( protect it at all ) ? Nice build.

Bad frickin ass 🔥🔥
Where did you get those red float plates?
Fucking clean video man - I shared w my onewheeling friends
Wow
Sick
Thanks!! I love the way it turned out
Soon
Went to order the flightframe for 300 bucks but are out of stock....😩😫
Damn! Did you send an email to see if they are going to get more?
@@BayAreaFPV they said mid-August and to keep checking their Instagram.
I LOVE the look of the Flight Frame on the OneWheel. It commands attention. :)
they just got new ones in stock!
wow
Èllsi Prod. Thank you
That’s a lot for something that’ll get scratched up in 5 mins
Be that as it may, it’s still the most badass Onewheel out there. 🚀🔥🤙

I was actually considering that very thing.
How is it an oxymoron?
@@AdiusOmega hes meaning to imply that a nice shiney rail will get trashed pretty fast I think
@@MrDmadness not of he puts some protective sidekicks on it, easy to do.

should probably follow Jeff McCosker's directions for removing grip tape, and not this vid
