Not that I had any doubt, that I need this. But this video convinced me even more. Thank you Bart, for all the great content you put out. 🤙🏼 Best wishes and happy floating! 🍻 P.S.: I LOVE that tree with the lights. 😍 Big love from over the pond.
Sounds like more of a commercial than a review lol. Seems you were a bit less rough on the platy than u were on the other pads. Cuz you can do the palm trick on any pad as long as ur palm covers both sensors, which an adult palm will usually do. As well as the platy seemed to activate and not activate around the same number of times that the other pads did. But my question is, based on how easy it activated in Matt's latest teaser video, is there any extensive freezing and wet testing being done? Cuz its not the activation that's the hard part. I've made probably 10-12 front pads and one of the biggest issues I've had to deal with is temp and it causing flickering activations that, just like when you were going from hand to hand on the platy and taking ur hand off and it stayed engaged, a flickering activating pad can do the same, and in doing so will continue to ride without u on it! (Ghost) All that ☝ bullshit aside, I'm excited to try one of these!
We all know how shitty FM sensor pads are Steve. The Platysense seems to already engage as you barely touch it. That CANNOT be done with any sensor pad so far.
@@BartfugginMiller 100% dude that activation is nuts! And I'm not saying it's not the superior pad, only that it looked like you kinda took it easy on the platy in comparison to the other ones, and I was essentially asking for a more in depth review I guess with a bit more abuse and DEFINITELY some cold weather and snow usage
@@BartfugginMiller hey I was just curious if there actually was any of these being tested anywhere north of the Mason Dixon line? Seems like everyone testing is in the southern half of the country where u don't rlly get snow. Something that activates that easy I'm worried will stay activated if you get any sort of gravel, mud, or snow buildup. Or cold temps causing shrinkage of the grip tape or pad (idk how urs in constructed so idk if these things matter here) but I am definetely worried about how easy it activates with snow or mud buildup...
That’s amazing Bart, thanks for showing us the difference between them!
It is night and day. You will live it!
This looks like a good work out. Might have to add this to my home Onewheel Gym.
Pre ordered the PlatySense for my 4209 WTF build today🎉
Awesome product! Good job bros!

Love the review! Ik what I'm doing the moment I start having doubts about my stock sensor.
How about ghosting potential with the platy pad?

How has it held up?
Thanks Bart!
I want one!!! Sold out though
Love it bro
Looks cool! Very curious about how it’s set up. Is there a sensor built-in?
Yes there is and it is a plug and play design.
WANT!
Why test with fingers instead of feet? Who rides with their fingers on the board?
Platysense looks awesome but I still have lots of questions.
when are these being sold to the public???
i want!!!
If this ain't McMurray from Letterykenny, imma eat my hat.
Looks pretty promising. Hope it holds up to the abuse.
very nice video, bro!
