Quite well as it feels very vesclike. The new shaping is bringing all new riding capabilities. As far as power, it is stronger than a GT but still with no way to control motor current or permanent nose height it is at a disadvantage. With that said, a board that can be purchased right out of the box with a warranty that is this good has my attention. I would like to see a 2mph top speed and about a 15%-20% increase in power but thats asking a lot. Which I plan too. 😂

This is lighter than a GT and a helluva lot more bang for the buck.

f(x) gloves, my favorite and never ride without them. Dave Stewart started making them and now they sell em at Onewheel on their site 🤙 Best gloves period.

It's VESC; consider it somewhat as a "jailbreak" for FM boards. Look it up.

@BartfugginMiller a Floatwheel? I rode one earlier today and uploaded a video, heck I rode up the curb twice in that video and it didn't even dip the nose. I rode an XR classic on a floaty Friday group ride in NYC and it sucked, no power despite high voltage battery, dips at every single road crack, it's another unsafe futuremotion board no different then the GT and GTS. I have ridden every single Onewheel product with multiple types of tires rails and configurations. XRC feels ten times better then the GTS and even GTS owners agree. I'm slowly but successfully converting everyone I group ride to go vesc. Don't be upset because you are blatantly bought off by futuremotion &/OR is severely incompetently misinformed.

I met Bart at the WinMan Enduro and talked to him for a bit. My impression is that he is really a super-cool genuine positive dude that cares just as much for the community as he does for the wheels. When I lost my first dual slalom race he was at the bottom of the run and gave me a hug right after I crossed the timing rug. He doesn't even know me other than a talk we had while sitting on some rocks waiting to race. This review didn't look bad in any way to me not to mention there are already others reviewing it so your "let the community review" is completely without merit.

Main difference that people are getting the VESC-like comparison is the turning, as it keeps the nose up much better in turns. Still not quite like a VESC (it feels more artificial, you can feel it drop and lift rather than just staying up naturally), but it's certainly better.

A stock VESC'd XR with the stock battery pack will still be under powered. But if it has a modern battery like the XR Classic does, which is an 18s2p battery, it'll blow the XR Classic away. Future Motion can't possibly compete with VESC outside of the courtroom.

Quite different but the massively lower stance and profile makes it highly maneuverable and the Gradient Tracking is dramatically better. Im not sure it is 100% the same as the GT internals. Ill find out though.

I would go straight rails for the street because of how much more maneuverable it is than the curved rails. On the other hand if you’re looking for high stability on the streets instead of flickability then go with the curved trails.

Been a bucket list dream for 8 years. I decided that dream was gonna become a reality and I don’t regret it for a second.

I heard it was a couple lbs or so heavier than the original XR.

This was a 1 week thing which was a lot Like Willy Wonka‘s chocolate factory opening up to the public I wouldn’t have flown here otherwise. I’m from Florida. I literally came all the way across the United States because of this opportunity.
