Its double sided waterproof tape. It's has fibers embedded to reinforce it so when you heat it up, you can transfer the pads to another device, adhesive and all.
Actually it looks quite different from what Ive seen. It is certainly sticky but apparently with light heat you can peel it right off and reapply it. I know. I was shocked as well. 😮

@@dakotawilly6621 you won't have that issue with the tape Sticky Feet uses. Doesnt let up in the heat.
The sticky feet grip tape is a complete rip off. $100 for a 3D printed grip pad is a joke. Don't waste your money and just 3D print your own using TPU
