Ages ago, my hometown. Family still in area. The run down house in the trees on Yeagua (across from Brookshires) was my Grandmothers house, later transferred to a son. It was sold to a real estate ??? company...word was it was going to be used for offices. I was there a few months ago but didn't have time to stop and investigate. The building you were trying to figure out what it was, was the elementary school at one time. The 2 story white house adjacent to the corner was our house. A few steps from school. Thanks for the tour. At one time it was a lovely little town with main street shops. The furniture store, "Longbottams" incorporated the space of the Limestone Theater.
One thing I learned about Groesbeck from my co-workers is that Cynthia LaMae “Cindy” Hewitt (Jennifer Love Hewitt’s mom) lived there. She passed in 2020.

Just a little tidbit. I started to school in Grosbeck back before they even had kindergarten., back in 1951. Also there was a Baptist preacher by the name of Lester Rolaff who came and put a tent on the school grounds and held a revival. The school would let out early in the afternoon and all the kids would go hear him

I don't know the route. Just take it slow. Look both ways every time, make sure the instructor sees you looking both ways. Don't just use your mirrors when backing up, turn and look too. Good luck.
