The building to the left of the old stone building is a WWII POW barracks for nazis bedore being moved there in the 60's

There is some money there in those houses . They are all clean and mowed . Some old houses very few Mobil homes were ever there

Just came across your video. Honey Grove is a nice little town, the people there are great. I live in Bonham just 16 miles away from Honey Grove. Fanning County which is the county there is beautiful and with it being such a rural county ( only about 35,000 people in the whole 899 square mile county) you can look up in the night sky on a clear and moon less night and see a sky completely full of stars.

Since I have lived there for almost one year 40 years ago (as an exchange student), it is kind of sad to see Gorman this way. at the same time I recognized most of the buildings, even one part of the house of my host family. you even drove the road I walked every morning to school. the school buildings where almost unchanged. Home of the Panthers! Yeehaa to the Class of 85!

ah, the neighborhood you went down is 2604 - well known as “skitz 04” because it’s where all the crackheads reside! Definitely should try State park out or our lake spots only most locals knows. ( Hippies point, Soldiers cliff, 4 fingers, Walling ben’s are all cliff jumping and fishing spots that are difficult to find on phone maps. )

I lived in Hugo for quite some time. Its a dead end town. With a dead end sheriff that claims hes a christian. The sheriff department, headed by Terry Park now, literally threatened to m*rder me and dump my b*dy in the woods. Illegally removed me from a property i was renting, and didnt even care. They just didnt want to do their job right. (I won the lawsuit) I will be showing up there to film as well, but i will be filming the sheriff, the deputies, the department, courthouse, jail, everything i can from public areas. Lets see how well Terry REALLY knows the law.

It looks like a town that is being completely neglected. Not a walmart or kroger in sight.. God forbid an awful storm comes through.
