If it is done correctly, the Holy Sacrifice of the Roman Catholic Mass, is like a taste or a preview, of Heaven on earth, amen!
Thank you Father. I wonder how the Mass in English is offered by a priest if there are no other people present, if that is still done.
What a treasure we have ignored. Mass is a time for the faithful to come into complete union with God. I respect the present Novos Ordo rite but too many priests rush thru n are irreverent and the choir takes too dominant a role to control the flow n it’s too noisy.

The Novus Ordo is a Protestant service unfortunately. Compare to Cranmer’s service of 1552- virtually identical.

I'm done with Novus Ordo because although valid, it is so protestanized and most people do not know; much sacredness removed, especially The Liturgy of The Eucharist - The Sacrifice prayers
God has everything in hand. Do we believe that or not? Even the crisis of the Holy Mother Church since at least Vat2 is all part of God's plan. I have no option but to attend the Novus Ordo and trust that the Lord will make all correct again.
No Byzantine or other Eastern Rite Liturgy nearby?
As long as it's a valid mass and we participate in it reverently, we do well.
And the Novus Ordo is a valid mass according to the Church. Therefore there is no need to feel bad or inadequate to attend it. Don't let anyone keep you away from mass.
Yes the Latin mass is liturgically more wholesome but it is not spiritually better than the NO. Both are the same on that level. We get to consume Jesus in the flesh in both masses.
