Thanks for showing the $8.00 antenna ..that's about my speed for a new / old ham....got my first ham set and novice in about 1964 and did only code but life got in the way and at 70 I just started back got my tech and working to my general ...and relearning code again so I really enjoy your videos ..so far I've just got 3 HT's but looking for a mobile rig...can't decide if a dual band or a quad band though that Xiegu might be worth waiting and saving up for. and Merry Christmas too
After getting good reports on cw, it would have been worth a try what’s going on on SSB. But after all you showed us an interesting experiment. I am a G90 „heavy user“ and always love seeing fellow hams using this nice radio.
Inverted V is a good option . Only hanging it from a tree with a little bit more work could be improved upon ? Aerials close to objects (trees ,houses sheds, ground etc ) don't work quite so good ? If you could run the line over the tree to another tree and suspend the wire in the clear , between the 2 trees the sig should be better ? Maybe a video to prove my point ,or prove me wrong?
Thanks for the input. It was edited but I enjoy showing as much as I can without to much polish. These are ham videos to learn with. Thanks for watching. 73s
I'm feeling cold just watching. Thank you for your commitment.

I'll be trying something similar with ft8 soon... We're not as cold on the other side of PA but it's still cold!
PA is getting cold quick. Thanks for watching and good luck with the ft8. 73s
