I used to rebuild square body trucks for years and those aftermarket panels and fenders never fit right but somehow I managed to get them to fit. It’s great watching Blair do this, he has so much patience, perseverance and will to make it right, I’m having flashbacks to 30 years ago. Great educational videos that really can help do it yourselfers, well done guys!👍
Hey guys! Love watching everything come together! Wish I was younger ( 74 tomorrow) I would have bought something to play around with even though I'm not that inclined! Probably the best feeling to see a finished product as I have watched you guy's complete. Anyway's thanx for sharing and nice job Blair. Get that Bee started! lmao
I can't wait to see how Blair converts the 76 and up door, to a 73-75 full convertible door. That will be interesting! Top on, top off, top on top off...those full convertible tops are HEAVY!!!
Alays enjoy these repairs with keeping future rust in mine, by priming all suraces not just visible areas, good for future owners and good craftsmanship
Something from nothing. These weren't exactly Bentley's when new and in Ontario anyway, they rusted badly. I really liked the Blazers that came before the square bodies and it seemed that the new style rusted faster which was kind of sad. We never really expected any of these trucks to live forever. It is fun to watch the fitment of panels - kind of like doing a pre-production mock-up.
@ yes. I knew there was to be an auction just haven’t heard when? Do you know if on line bids will be taken? The process of that? Etc. Thx. for any info about the auction.
Word! Up out of the way, long shipping times, plus it's a waste of money when the dude here knows how, and is reconditioning the necessary parts. Original steel that once fit, and can be patched up, is often better than ill fitting & expensive aftermarket parts. I'm with Blair & Mike all the way on this project. It's looking good guys!
Imagine what Blair could accomplish in a day in a real shop. Mikes shop is an absolute train wreck. Having to contend with that post lift is literally adding hours to the job. I suspect that Blair is the only one left who will work in Mikes house of horrors shop.
Blair your getting to old to be lefting those doors like that where is your shop girl that was there before to help ? I've done a bunch of those on Chevys Ford and Dodges there is some work doing them ! The newer stuff not so bad because the doors hide most of it !
One week renovation? Yeah sure. Average frame off restoration is 2 years. 9 vehicles in nine weeks. There are motors and transmission for some. Mike did have a plan for some of them to rebuild. The last full rebuilds are the Chevelle and the Malibu. Closed and land returned to agriculture natural state by May, by order of BC government.
I disagree with that rocket restoration, it's just not something i feels comfortable with have a complete replscement in hand, it's like your working flat rate.
@@Dr.Claw_M.A.D. Not talking about this one its all of them. Look at the malibu convertible they took across Canada. That was a full restoration. None of the gauges worked except those cheap after market ones they mounted on the bottom and of course they can't ever get wipers to work on any of there cars.
I love watching Blair work, and his patience and the way he explains things are great. I wish I had a quarter of his talent.
I love you guys. Just a little crazy keeping track of the time line of the videos ❤

I can see or hear where Cass learned to swear. 😂
Beautiful work Blair.

AWESOME!
Good work, it sucks tossing good stamped ends of the panel but work wise it’s the only way
Looks good
I like your video of cars
Looks like Jegs has some 73 blazer parts if you get in a pinch
Chevrolet Blazer! Possibly the koolest vehicle ever built,! How much does Mike want for the blazer?
It's going into the auction that's coming up
@ yes. I knew there was to be an auction just haven’t heard when? Do you know if on line bids will be taken? The process of that? Etc. Thx. for any info about the auction.
April. Has to clear the land by May. If all goes to plan Walmart will be open by fall.
As far as buying cash is king. Flat deck, wrecker..
Cass is long gone😮😂
What color are you going with i hope it's green and white with some 35 tires sweet
Primer most likely
How many projects on the go?
Is the firewall dented passenger side?
It looks like the inside of the box sides are different. Why wouldn’t you just buy another one? To match the new one
With shipping its 1500$ for another one and possibly a few weeks

🍟🍟🌭🌭🍵🍵🫖🏁
that old bedside has no inner structure
It's not a restoration it's assembled parts for someone who wants a project.
👋🎅Hi mike hi blair🎅👋🎄🎁⭐️
Love how blair has the are you a dumbass look when talking to mike 😅😅😅😅
Please cut the roof (door surrounds) off and be true to the K5 design........thanks
He will have to if he is using the top he has for it .

Wow avery is beating mike in Views
How is it that people who have zero skill level always say we
When we own the land, the building and the vehicles and rent space to work on our own personal projects.. M
I never feel like any of there restorations never get to a 100%. They always get them to about 80 to 90 percent then just leave it.
This isnt an actual restoration. It's assembly of parts to increase the projects value at auction
