Im doing something very similar to my 95 YJ. I have Dana/Sterling Axles, 4.88 Gears, E-Lockers, 14" Fox Coilovers, Genright Tank & Coil Brackets, Stretched Out on 40" M.T. Baja Boss.... with a 100hp 2.5l.... Lol.... I dont know what will give first, the motor or AX-5 transmission. The goal is make it last another year until I get the V-8, Trans, T-Case figured out. It runs great in low range, but in 2wd I top out at about 50mph in third. I wanted 5.38 gears but according to Yukon, 2011+ Sterling axles dont go deeper than a 4.88. Im hoping I can get the transfer case low enough to make up for it. AWESOME BUILD MAN !
Make sure to link all of the parts that you talk about in your videos in your description! It’s super helpful! Currently doing a 5.3 swap in a TJ also you sound a lot me mechanically intelligent than me. Thanks for the info! Maybe throw links in the description 😂
Only thing I will suggest is work on your sound. When your in the garage its hard to hear you even with my sound pretty much maxed out.. Look forward to your build ! thanks for sharing your journey
The Holley system is designed for 2wd applications so you’ll need a 2wd VSS in the trans for it to communicate properly, it’s been done before and works fine
Awesome

Wrapping up my YJ Ls swap. The headers interfere with the ceramic straight boots. I had to use angled boots because the header tube was in the way.

Love watching other peoples builds on here, i wish i had done more video while doing mine. I have a few. Looks like its going to be a fun build!
Swap the fan out with a better one on the superior radiator.
I’m using a Derale fan for engine and trans cooler

Def learning as I go appreciate it though
Won’t you need the vss on the 241 so the Holley can let the tranny know when to shift?
