Ronnie loved Buenos Aires and all the people there! All Dio fans are special to him. But just as no one is exactly the same.....neither are Ronnie's favorite countries and the people therein! And they all have a special place in his heart as his heart was big enough to hold you all gladly in it! Me too! And I'm doing my best to make sure that all of Ronnie's fans continue to get the love, honor and respect that he would've been giving to this day......through me!
He told me once...."Goldy....I want to pass the torch onto you kid"!!
And I'm starting to see it begin!!

Hello Craig!; How good to be able to read you; and wow to have even been at that concert. I love Ronnie James Dio and he is greatly missed. It was a pleasure to be at that concert...I was 21 years old, and I was able to buy the ticket with the help of my mother.

Who knows, there might be someone over at MTV who remembers things like this and might be willing to go on an archeological dig for the Headbangers Ball full concert. The excerpts on YT are usually the song "Naked In the Rain" with the guitar solo and giant Metal Spider Battle. And there is another edited version of that same bit. That's all I can find. Thank you for your spark!! We need that!!
I just watched the entire 2 hours! What a legend. Ronnies voice is perfect or even better than the studio versions and he was nealry 60 here! How amazing. I love all those moments on stag etoo, the moves, the smiling, the interaction with the fans and u could really tell how much of a nice person he was. I wish i could still see him live....also the band was on fire!!
sadly, there is no much pro shot DIO material from 2000 onwards, he was AWESOME here, I dare say even better than some of his official releases. I know it´s kinda silly, but I´m kind of proud that this great performance took place in my country, you can see he was really pleased with the crowd´s reaction. Thank you so much for this.

I like his 2000's voice more. His vowels were more open and the lower tone made his songs so much heavier. I think he liked that too...

Ese amor que se le dio en Argentina desde la primer vez que se presentó, a el lo retroalimentaba. Fíjate la alegría que tenía por estar con su público. Una atmósfera muy especial. La misma que se produjo la última vez que vino con Heaven and Hell, 2009 en el Luna Park. El ya venía mal, pero escuchen ese regalo que nos hizo esa noche y que le hicimos también. Está en RUclips, busquenlo. Fue grandioso, como nunca, como siempre. Seguís vivo en nosotros y en la música que nos regalaste. Gracias

Alla por fines de los 90 me fui acercando a el heavy metal...metal clasico y power metal...tantas bandas espectaculares...recien en la.pandemia de 2020 comence a escuchar a ronnie con detenimiento ,su voz ,su musica ,sus letras....el tamaño inmenso de su leyenda ....lamento no haberlo visto en vivo....!! Pero que hran legado dejo carajo....encima no hay nadie que havle mal de el..una calidad humana tremenda....gracias ronnie por tanto...sigue vivo en cada cancion...!! Gracias por ser pilar fundamental del heavy metal...!!!

Saw it in São Paulo a couple of days later, amazing show. Awesome band. It was great to see Jimmy Bain live, he's an icon. And Magica was a great album. This tour deserved an official live album.

wanted a copy, of Magica, seen it A FEW TIMES. So sad they never made a 720 copy of that album in concert. By the way, why the audio drop out on the beginning of Magica, about five minutes?
