@Megan thank you for watching ;)
You missed the snippet of Country Girl, right before Neon Knights
@@user-vb6xj9kc3w Ну и зачем ты написал этот мусор в комментариях Легенды?
Thank you for posting this video, I've been a Ronnie James Dio fan since I bought my first rainbow album back in 1977.
The fact that he had the strength to get on the stage this late in the cancer "game," is a true testament to the immortalized legend that was Ronnie James Dio.
Adam Russell Amen, brother, Amen...
It was a short fight, diagnosed late 2009, dead mid 2010.
Even if he knew it or not at this time he still had cancer and must have been feeling like shit 🤘
@@jsgdk Holy crap! I cant believe hes been gone almost ten years now?
and his voice would still cut glass.
Every time I see Ronnie I still find myself saying “I can’t believe that he’s gone.” Top man RJD. Sadly missed.
He's there every time you press play
I ran into Ronnie James Dio at a Vons grocery store in Reseda, California. The only thing I had was a box of Twinkies and he signed it. When Dio passed and they stopped making Twinkies for a short time, my wife wanted me to sell it. Maybe thats why she is now my ex...ha ha ha
can u put up a picture or video of it here on youtube?
BS
fuck dat bitch
Wasn't he the most down to earth guy ever? I met him on several occasions. I live in Hollywood, we share acquaintances....super nice guy. He remembered me and my name from there on. Loved him so much. And this is a sin, but I prefer Ozzy/Sabbath...but I'll love DIO for life. There wasn't a single wicked, selfish or egotistical bone in that tiny body. I've met quite a few rock stars in my day working in music...DIO remains close to my heart. I was devastated when I heard of his passing. I was out of town, of course, when he past. I've been to his grave MANY times. Laid devil horns up his tomb. His friends will join him soon enough.
SABBATH FOREVER!!!!!!!!
........«They» just don't understand
Geezer Butler, simply one of the best bass guitarist. A true one.
yeah, add Steve Harris, Geddy Lee and Chris Squire...... that should do for the top 5
like a boulder coming at you

Theres no one like Geezer. He's the man -the myth.
What miss i the voice of Ronnie James Dio, the best metal singer ever.
Rest in Peace, Ronnie.
I think iron maiden comes very close but I agree
If this was filmed in '09, what an incredibly strong will Ronald James Padavona had. Rest forever in peace, you graced the world with your incredible gift with a passion that will never be lost or forgot.
"Falling of the edge of the world" just a MASTERPIECE...
As a young girl, I went to a ton of concerts. I snuck backstage a few times. I learned very quickly that though I was there for the music and nothing else, there were musicians that would use their position to get "other things". I wasn't offering that. The only energy I got off Ronnie was fatherly. I will always think fondly of him for that.
RJD is here to stay
still listening to this in 2019
WHAT A BAND
Yes!!!!!
That takes guts!! A 40 year old band (30 with Dio) playing so many new songs. The audience ate up every minute. There is no other band that can do that!!!!!!!! The Greatest!
God I love watching REAL musicians play. Iommi, Butler, Appice, Dio, all of them not only good, REAL musicians who still kick ass into their 60's. DAMN good show!
I wish young people would get into people who play instruments, they do not care about that in today's music.
As much as I love Vinnie, I wish Bill Ward was involved too. With Bill there it would really be the Heaven and Hell era Sabbath and not just Mob Rules/Dehumanizer era.
Hands down, the greatest Heavy metal singer of all times!!! True poet, miss you brother RIP RJD. You are missed
absoltel;y
One semitone. A single semitone lower than the records, in his mid 60s with undiagnosed stomach cancer. It's a mystery where he got it from, but that voice! Wow.
Dio never eat well according to Iommi
Semi tone but its darker .
And raspier Dio tone ..
I like his Growl in THUUUNDER in Follow the tears .
But some vocals still very high , or beyond supra high ( Screaaam Morb rules ).
On other live he does the begining of the sign of southern cross in full voice .
And it still fuckin hard to hit even half lower .
@@Nissardpertugiu He disliked vegetables
Ronnie's sense of melody was always amazing.
Few rock singers ever used half the exotic scales and modes he could pull off in just one song.
Respect dear Dio... just a few months before you passed you did this, just like 40 years ago. What a natural you were. We'll still miss you. We will always miss you. Such a pity we lost you.... you great great talent...
Thank you for your recognition of this man, and your empathy!
@@MrPaulCurtis The greatest voice....
Damn Geezer makes the very idea of playing bass 10x cooler just by sheer presence and sound.
I literally say every Dio concert in San Diego, from the Black Sabbath days, to the "Dio" days. I feel so lucky to have seen his show here during the Heaven and Hell tour. RIP RJD
Man On The Silver Mountain R.I.P
Dio would be 77 years old if we was still living (in late 2019). The fact that he could still sing so well even into his late 60s is testament to how great of a talent he truly was, not to mention how seriously he took his craft and cared for his instrument. It's heartbreaking to think of the fact that he was already suffering from cancer when this was filmed, even if he did not know it at the time.
My first concert was black Sabbath heaven and hell tour in 1980. It was in Aloha stadium in Hawaii. The line up was Black Sabbath, Blue oyster cult, and Molly Hatchet. I was called the summer '80 blow out. Black sabbath was last to perform just when the sun started to set and into the night. The sky was at first a magnificent red and orange, there was a giant puffs of smoke rising from back of the speakers as the coughs from sweet leaf started....and the band appeared to the song of sweat leaf....RJD had a black witches gown with red lining...it was magical. Everybody was passing joints. Its something that I will never forget! Thanks RJD, BLACK Sabbath for a wonderful memory....I stole my uncles stash of pot and took it to the concert....he never said anything but I think he knew it was me.....heh, heh he is a cool uncle! I feel sorry for kids now a days who will never know the power of real rock n roll!
Saw Ronnie twice with Sabbath, and once when he was solo, opening for Maiden, with Motorhead.I'm a huge Freddie Mercury fan, and Ronnie James Dio is right up there with Freddie as one of the best vocalists ever, any kind of music !!!He was also such a class act.
Christ I can't believe he's gone.....he was such a force ! RIP Ronnie, you are missed : (
What a a voice at his age RIP
I mourned when Ronnie passed away. I will mourn when Ozzy, Geezer and Bill's time comes. However, when Tony's time comes, I will likely have a nervous breakdown. There is not another guitar player like him, nor will there ever be another like him. He is my favorite of all, standing above David Gilmour, Dave Murray, George Lynch and Michael Schenker.
When Tony goes it will be terrible. When I heard about Glenn Tipton I felt like I had been kicked in the guts. What we got to remember is the music we have been blessed with is eternal.
Best live version of this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’Iommi and Dio two BIG rock stars forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TONI IOMMI....!! 🎸 THANKYOU
This is so awesome. RIP Dio, so much credit for being able to do this at this point in his life
The voice of metal: Dio!
Nobody will ever matched RJD’S power & deliverance. What power in his legendary voice. RIP!🤘
With you there bro|!
I'm envious of the people that got to see this live show. RJD was a true rock god, and Black Sabbath started it all. I watch this video often.
Boa. Sorte. Saúde
Enjoy
the best metal band ever dio the metal God Tony and geezer and let's not forget the Prince of darkness ozzy what more can I say I'm 58 years old and still can't get enough of this real rock n roll long live rocknroll and raise those devil horns high
RIP RJD! You are now Gone, But your Music Legacy will Live for Ever!
Coastal Driver as long as there's videos and CD he's not really dead
Tony Is An absolute Guitar God! Hes a Legend.! I love Heaven and Hell/ Black Sabbath. Ronnie is a Legend as well.
All 4 ARE!!!
Anti Murphy Of course..
in 1979 every kid had this music in there car, truck, rolls,it was something we had never herd anything like RONNIE,J.O. r.n.p
Hey man ... I'm 70 and still listen to it!
Love the fact that none of them had a clue what was going on in Heaven and Hell after Ronnie opened with wrong lyrics. They played through it so well though.
Andrew Milner true professionals can make a mistake right in front of you an they don't skip a beat!!❤🇺🇸😎✌
Well they have experience of this from Ozzy! The early days he would even sing the title backwards, but you'd hardly notice \|||/
When you write it...who's to say that you can't change it? It's THEIR song after all...
It was an exciting moment for sure! Dio was right: you don't want to hear the same versions anyway. They killed it. Just great team work. Awesome professionals. RIP RJ Dio. He was the King of Rock singers. Tony is the Master of dark riffs. Band is great.
I first saw Dio on the Last in Line tour. But when I found out this band was touring I had to see it and experience the magic. Loved it so much I saw them twice. RIP RONNIE🤘🏼
Greatest voice in metal ever ! One of the baddest drummers Rock on Vinny
The pairing up of RJD and Sabbeth was shear once in a lifetime magic.
Actually they paired up three times -- first after Ozzy left, then again in 1990 for Dehumanizer, and again in 2006 to form Heaven and Hell.
Saw RJD, with Elf, Rainbow, and Sabbath. Never dissappointed.
I had a Samoan friend who worked at Blaisdell Arena security (Honolulu) and one of his huge guys called in sick for the RJDio concert. He called me and asked if I would work. I am 5'2" and weighed 130lbs at the time....he put me dead center stage! (on floor between crowd and stage) At least I was surrounded by 4 giant Somoan security guys! Got to meet the band and had backstage pass, free food and drinks. Yngwie Malmsteen was opening act. One of the coolest moments in my life back then. MISS R J DIO.....RIP Greatest rock voice ever. Such power!
Ronnie James Dio wird wohl niemals vergessen werden.Er war ein fantastischer Künstler.Ruhe in Frieden
The perfect companion to the Radio City concert. So many songs from "The Devil You Know" album are here. Thank you for the upload! R.I.P. RJ Dio
I know what you mean, thank you for your input Tom.
RJD will live in my heart forever, mostly for his work with rainbow, and his solo career, but I was also lucky enough to see H&H just before his passing.
Saw them on this tour in Switzerland. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. Dio electrified the stage. There will never be another like him.
The best example of what four brilliant musicians can do.
Ronnie was dying here but he gave an awsome performance. Only seen him once live back in '83 but to see him here with Tony, Geezer and Vinnie was magical. RIP Ronnie, the greatest voice. We only die once but we get to live every day. Enjoy every minute, Peace.
Ronnie has such an amazing resonant voice how the hell does that voice come out of that little body!!!
A neat thing about Ronnie was the countless reports of what a nice guy he was from those who met him.
apart from when he wished death on Vivian Campbell.
AMAZING recording of a great band and one of the greatest voices in rock / metal history! Hard to believe Dio was already cancer-stricken here, and he put on such a great performance. Thanks for posting and sharing. It’s truly special!
CHEERS from Canada 🇨🇦
🤟😎🤟
I met Ronnie years ago he was a gracious and awsome Man. God do I miss him.
The intro to "Falling off the Edge of the World" really surprises me, how Tonis live guitar sound exactly matches the album...
'Mob Rules' 'Falling of the Edge of the World' 'Die Young' and 'Neon Knights' live!!!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only wish 'Turn Up the Night' was here too
Still had a great voice even in his last days. RIP.
i love this live version improvisation on heaven and hell, tony iommi is a genius
Just saw this post. Lol, I’m always late to the party! Any ways thanks for the great post man. We lost a living legend
When Ronnie crossed over! But the music lives on and feeds the hunger!!!
Brilliant music, thanks mate for the goodness you bring in this live set,RJD,rest in peace, thankyou.
This was on top of my feed. This is amazing! Wonderfully shot, and heavy as hell! Nothing better than this, just wish I had a chance to see them live. Rock On!!!!!
I miss Dio!
All we have is what he leaves behind, I think it makes him all the greater though. Peace..the fuck out.
One of the beast rock singers ever and this group together put out some really good music period. I have to say Rob Harlford and Ronnie James Dio two of my favorite singers of rock.
The physicality of Geezer's bass playing here is amazing, at about age 60. Precise, solid, always in the pocket.
Thanks for posting this video. Ronnie was so great. Iommi & Butler best heavy duo ever. And Vinnie on drums so good!
Legendary show i miss Ronnie you don't hear masterpieces like this anymore great video thank you for sharing RIP RJD \w/
Great times, thank you.
My favorite singer of all time. I was crushed when he died. His spirit still lives on with me.
I got the honor of seeing DIO live on July 22nd 2003 @Hartford, CT along with Motorhead and Maiden !!!!!
I was there and I can see my face in the 2nd line)) It was a great show. Unfortunately the track 2 Children of the Sea was not included because of commercial interests (DVD live in Wacken) Never forget...
I missed it, it still haunts me
Ive had the privilege of seeing many great shows and many legends (Ramones, motorhead for example) the best show I've ever seen was the last Heaven and Hell tour soon before RJD passed. There was not a note dialed in, Dio had a huge smile and rocked out everything like his life depended on it. Unfortunately it did. RIP RJD! I will always hold this memory and my eyes are watery typing this
It is 2019 I have seen Dio in concert I a number of times .i was able to see this tour at Jones Beach in New York . I am so glad I did and I also saw Judas Priest the same night . It was amazing night for metal heads like myself. I also watch this concert so many times Paul thank you for sharing.. I can close my eyes it brings me back to when I saw him for the last time . Dio lives forever through his music , videos and thank you Dio
You can really tell it's 100% live and there's a ton of improv, it's like a proper 70's concert. Dio is amazing at all ages.
Paul Curtis Thank you, First class brother
Falling of the Edge of the World - Amazing! Geezer Monster on the bass!
RJD = one of the Gods of Rock Music. Gone but not forgotten!
I missed the Heaven and Hell tour because I couldn’t get off of work. Thanks for this!
He was 69 in this show. Just one year before he passed away. Probably with early cancer. And still he was kicking ass. The GOAT. Ronnie, how much I love you.
He was 66. He died in 2010 at 67
💘 too
His classical singing style was unique!
A masterclass!!! outstanding performance.
Still sounded killer, even when Ronnie was battling cancer. God bless him. He was such a great, intelligent man. I have much respect for Ronnie James Dio. Top 5 singer for me. No one was better. #RIPDIO
There are not enough words to show you my gratitude for this...
So much love from Greece!!!
I 've got to get this concert. Thanks for posting Paul..
No problem, thanks for watching.
Yeah, Ronnie might've flubbed the beginning of "Heaven & Hell" but his vocal improvs
on the melody lines are awesome...
Long Live Rock 'N Roll...
\m/ 👹\m/
He covered it nicely.
James Leroy Garcia no doubt!! guys suffering from cancer but still was tearing it up!!❤🇺🇸✌😎
They all should get credit for improving and playing right through it. I saw Tony shake his head and talk to the drummer several times, but they played fills right through it and synced back up. It is a true testament to their skill to fix this type of thing that happens when playing live.
Fluffed mate ... fluffed.
I was lucky to have seen Ronnie Grace the stage in 2005 with this same line up I also got a drumstick from vinnie which he through out. RIP Ronnie 🤘
THANK YOU FOR THIS PAUL !!!!!!!!! I was fortunate enough to see them back in the day when they were touring for the heaven and hell album !!!! ( YEAH, I'm old..LOL.) and mob rules... JUST FUCKING INCREDIBLE .... LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL... LONG LIVE RONNIE...
I have a lot of respect and admiration for many metal bands. But this has to be my all time favourite metal line up. Can't help it but there is something about the sound that gets me right in the guts. Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice were a once in a generation quartet.
Vinny will always be my 2nd fav Sab drummer to BW....Great job IMO
Awesome, thanks for sharing this
Seeing Dio again is emotional. He is missed.
Tony Iommi is one of the few guitarists that can actually make the guitar talk. Jimi Hendrix is the other one. It's a God given talent. No denial.
I've been chasing his tone for years. I had to buy his Laney Gh100ti signature amp. I had to build and mod a Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster and I had to get a 1962 Gibson SG. If nothing else, it is a harmless hobby (minus what my neighbors think).
The máximum expression of Heavy Metal, taken to the top by its creators. Heaven & Hell (Black Sabbath) the perfection of Metal. Thanks for sharing!!! Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
I was there. (somewhere near those DIO-Numberplates) Crappy venue. Great gig. :-)
That scream at the beginning of Mob Rules...DAMN
R. I. P. Legend
Been on this for couple weeks now , just keeps getting better thanks
this literally mustve been his last concert before he died, AND STILL ABLE TO PERFORM LIKE THAT
Thank you everyone worldwide for this 1,000,000 views milestone. The time has gone so quickly! But Dio fans just keep rolling. Thank you all both past and present, and I hope you are having an absolutely fantastic day! \m/
Paul Curtis. Thank you great video....!!!
Tq.. Awesome..watch from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Thank you for uploading one of my favorite bands!
Paul Curtis Thanks this is the shit good rest his Sol.
Paul Curtis fucked up god rest his Sol
Help me, tell me I'm sane - I feel a change in the earth, in the wind and the rain.
Pretty cool to see Falling off the Edge Of the World played live
This was the best lineup post Ozzy
Thanks to the author of the video. Dio eternal memory.Dio R.I.P.
Thank You ! Paul Curtis !!!!!!!! Nice Post !!!
ANYTIME !
One incredibly solid performance from the metal masters themselves. To me this was their best lineup of musicians.
I was stage security for Ronnie back in 2002. What an extraordinary person. Kind, passionate and willing to stop and talk to me for a while. Im glad i had the experience and am proud to have met him before he passed away. RIP Ronnie James Dio!!! You will be missed but never forgotten ;)
