Sadly, I think there are few of his shows left in the archive (tapes were re-used back in the day) and (believe it or not), many tapes from BTQ thrown out twenty years ago...
Boris was the brainchild of Eric Summons - a pioneer of children's programming and known right across the country through Wombat in the 1980's.

Ha ha - the stuff we liked as kids was so shit, but it was so great! In about 1980/1981, Boris was on just before Land of the Lost at 9am. I loved that stuff.
How did you manage to catch Land of the Lost when it was a weekday? I used to catch the opening for Over Annes Rainbow and get yelled at by Mr Williams for being late to school.
Yes, Ann Patchet at 9am and Humphrey after that. Used to also catch Breakfast with Jackie Mac before GMA took over the 7am slot in 1982.@@700gsteak
