It's what bsbyboomers as a generation were going through at that time starting families...businesses and losing friends and loved ones before their time. Great show. I loved how they dealt with life's moments.

I forgot that Gary's accident was a car accident and that it wasn't because he'd rode a 10 speed bicycle in the middle of winter without a helmet, like Michael had thought.
If he’s an organ tissue donor, he would still be hooked up to life support. Otherwise, what’s the point of having his wife sign off. Once they disconnect, the life support, it’s dead tissue and can’t be transplanted.
