I really like Gabriel and his crew. They've dome all my locks & keys.
yea He has done some for me but he charges 40 bucks for a key code at the show. Justin charges 35 for one send in the mail with a factory VW key blank or 24 for a generic. Just easier and some people are from all over where they dont have gabe. And a lot cheaper from justin if you dont care if you get a vw key blank.

My key story is = after work on a Saturday when I got home Jerry and David was waiting to go fishing. They took Rambus to the ice house to get some gas , case of quarts and some ice . Well I had the boat backed up in the ramp , and when I tried to go forward the van kept stalling ? I knew it wasnt water in the engine but it took about 10 times to get it out. On that 10th time I realized that I had to turn the key back after the starter ran. Well while we were out in the lake it came out. David stalled when he took out the clutch at the gas station and the key would not go . So the B.S. went Jerry reached over and both of them forced the key? = On VWs you have to turn key back to off to run the starter again - so you dont hit the starter while the engine is running?Well I had to put a Universal switch from Auto Shack and that saved the van from getting rip off 10 years ago. they stuck a screw driver in the old switch....................................................

Great topic. I had to send my locks. Have no idea if I got my originals back or not. Somtimes it pays to do this kind of job im person.
at the time of the video Here was a comparison of key prices. Gabriel $40 justin $35 for original vw key blanks or $24 for generic from justin. so Justin is way less and does a great job. Both are good sources. but justin is a bit cheaper.
