I am at BM-A school.. boot to A. There is some critical ratings that allows you to go to A guaranteed A school right after Boot camp and also they give you some $$$ after your done with the A school. Great video 🎉
seems like they really need more CS
Problem right now on Petaluma is they have a bunch of early arrivals for CS at Petaluma, but they can't get into classes because the max they can take per class is 18 so some of the guys coming out of Bootcamp come to Petaluma and just help out with all of prep work in the galley. Sometimes, they are doing this position for 2-3 months in waiting for a class date because each class is about a month a part.
CS school might start having a longer waiting time as people from basic are building up and waiting for their classes to start. I saw some coast guatdsmen talking on RUclips about serving a tour in Bahrain to get priority on the "A" school they wanted. Are there other ways to get priority for "A" schools with long wait times?

Are there travel restrictions as a reservist or enlisted if want to travel internationally? Is this especially true if you are an IS?
Hey there, is it likely you will get rejected for bad credit? I have a bankruptcy from about five years ago and some accounts in collections. Would they give you a waiver if you were going for a needed job like CS or do they mostly reject bad credit?
MST 69 months is too long to wait, I guess I should do my research on what career path to choose.

Unless you are kidding I'm pretty sure he said 6 to 9 months. Lol if that's true it's the lowest wait time for MST I've ever seen.
