You're riding your slide. Common sig guy issue. Your legion has a smaller slide catch, and your grips allow a more natural thumbs forward grip without preventing slide lock.

My tacops had the same problem and I sent it to SIG for service and contacted MecGar and they both said I was nuts. 2 PROBLEMS:
    1. The magazine release punchout on the magazine is set too high positioning the magazine downwards (1/16"+) reducing upward pressure on the slide catch bar when empty. If you manually push the mag in all the way the slide lock works.
    2. The second problem is the followers and the slide catch bar activator ledge being set too low ON THE FOLLOWER. The solution I used was drilling a pilot hole and adding a small 2mm button head screw to the surface of the magazine follower ledge to build it up and engage the slide catch bar earlier; ergo more spring pressure. Works fine now but SIG should have caught this. There are several video's on YT about this problem. I understand there are several versions of the factory follower out there but the ones that come with MecGar's suck. Hope that made sense and was helpful.

Jason should stick to what he knows (most likely a Glock) and leave the Sigs to the professionals.
