@MiyasmaTube Dude, stop freaken hating, you probably well know that Vadim can play without using synth. Vadim is a well accomplished musician who can play multiple instruments. I dare you to challenge him to a non-synth keyboard battle if you think he's so unimpressive. If you really want to see what vadim is capable of just listen to the beginning of "Starfire".
...what I don't understand is how people say Vadim sucks when the first solo in the beginning of the vid already proves his speed. I wish people realize that this is a power metal band. Not a soft, slow-pace band. His craziness is what makes him a great staple to DragonForce's live performances. He is a great keyboardist and if some of you guys don't think so, I'm sorry. Post a vid of you proving you're better. Oh, and if he's all about speed, Inside the Winter Storm will tell you otherwise.
@MiyasmaTube i challenge you to do a keyboard solo like his because he is still mostly playing in a pentatonic solo all the way across with some sweeps and bends, its not as simple as it seems
Wihtout his wicked key sounds DF songs are not the same. After he and ZP left the band lost his magical rad sound. I dont realy dislike todays DF but it is doesnt come close to what feel and sound they created before. Miss the old time with Vadim and ZP in the band.

@MiyasmaTube For u i can say only one word...envy...he might play with a monosynth but w8 a sec...its a solo...which means that there is no need to play any or a lot chords...and besides that its not the way he plays but the stuff he writes...so stop hate him for being fast talented and famous and try to correct ur life and acting like a 5 years old child...
I didn't think you were too good at all too be honest, But at least you had the balls to say: Yeah, I suck. So I give you kudos for that. Obviously, Jordan Rudess set the bar too high. Thats like comparing an ant and god. Everyone else is the ant, Jordan Rudess is god. Jon Lord isn't that great. The dude from Symphony X is better and I've never listened to Sonata Arctica really. ;O So, As usual, I'll call you out on your ability to outplay Vadim, Could you post a video of your skills? Or no?
Now, being honest, some of vadims solo's do sound really bad, and agree with statements about jorden rudess and jon lord, they could beat him hands down. But vadim is a very good piano player in his own right, listen to "where dragons rule" a song that he DOES play live- he i a good piano player, he just needs to lose the stupid amounts of synths

If you listen to any of Sam's work in other bands, you'll notie Herman is sloppier. Both great guitarists though.

Rudess has masturbatory solos... And Rudess has like 3 synths that are programmed to the 100th power. I guarantee Rudess has more sounds than Vadim..
