Sweet knife. I think that pattern of Damascus looks way cool. Your skills are definitely improving and I’m hooked on your channel! Can’t wait for the next one. Congrats on first thousand subscribers!
There just is not enough appreciation in your comments for doing damascus by hand. It is one of the most traditional artistic forms of metallurgy and knifemaking combined in classic tools. Those that are not flabbergasted, well you darn should be. The amount of physical effort is legitimately tiny compared to the opportunities for failure in the process along the way. The likelihood that you can make damascus: BY HAND / BY YOURSELF is so statistically improbably that it should be out of sheer amazement that you view this endeavor.

That came out really nice! Interesting to see the effect of the weld steel near the spine - great reminder to grind that out, but it still looks very cool. And I love your junk drawer approach ; )
Nice pattern. Clean, crisp lines on the blade. Love the blood wood. I've got to get used to seeing ads on your channel now. Wait till you see the billet I've got planned for you.
@@TBWblades thanks Ted much appreciated as always!!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with as far as patterns go!! I’m definitely excited to see what you can create! You should definitely do more content related to your press. I didn’t even know that company existed. I was looking them up the other day and it looks like you have a very good quality machine! Can’t wait to see more! 👊😄

@@TheOGfrenchy the best part about the press is the guy makes them in his back yard. His forges are awesome as well. I couldn't get one. 😭
