Very useful I just started learning batik from my mom In here Sri Lanka we do designs, crack and tie dye on cotton I might try silk after watching this ❤
Hi and thank you for sharing your video and process! I have a recommendation based on a few questions below that lead to some confusion. Some people asked what ink you were using. This is Procion H fiber reactive dye for G&S , correct? If so, try to use the word "dye", instead of "ink" in case you do another dye video. Thanks
Are you a foreigner ? I love your accent.. I know how to do batik and i love the crackle it gives i work with beeswax but it comes off rather hard to do.. with soy wax is so much easier to get it off in hot boiling water. crunch it up and place into boil water..with the pricion dyes or gs dyes.. too. then take it afterwards with cold water to remove the color for a bit then iron the silk or steam it.
Very useful

Nice...a question about the dye used. Does it run (wash off) once washed? If so, what did you use to fix it so it won't run? Thank you.
Do u use beeswax or candle wax,and then iron it off or dip it into dyes like procion and soda ash?

What is the dye type which has been applied to this? 😊
it must be reactive
Can I use this technique for other fabrics ? Can I use it on suede ?
I don't think this technique would work with suede.
What kind ink u use?
I'm also making my scarfs❤❤❤❤❤❤
Guess we're to make use of a cold water dye right?
Thanks in advance
