Thank you Laura! 😊 I use 100% cotton fabrics, and you can also use 100% cotton poplin. The first dyeing is done with the darker color, blue/black, and the second dyeing uses the lighter color, red/green, just like the fabrics dyed in the video. I'm glad you love tie-dyeing too!

Hi! Kool pieces! Did you re-tie (double tie) the fabrics you dyed a 2nd time or did you just add those pieces to another dye bath as is? Why did you trim your pieces with scissors before serging the edges when the serger has a blade to trim and sew at the same time? Just curious... 🤔

That's why I try to even out the edges, since with the serger I wouldn't have as much precision.

What fabrics did you use?? When did you use the 2nd dyeing method before or after the blue/black dyeing??. Love tye dyeing!! Beautiful pieces ❤️.
