OH YUM-MY! Thank you for the explanation of the activation of Baking Soda and for the oven temps, as I have an all gas range. Self rising flour, I have stopped using because, true to your words, everything I made with self rising flour had no rise. They were flat and heavier. With Baking Powder they have rise, are fluffier and look so much better. Love you, Chef Charles. Thank you 🥰 Happy Father's Day ‼️

Please show the container of the product you are using. For example, coconut milk, i found a 15oz can cream of coconut, is this the correct ingredient you used? Your can looks delicious!

I only have one cake recipe that I use self rising flour for, but I ALWAYS use my bake even strips and add 1 tspn of baking powder to the recipe.
