We hit 800 subs?! Amazing - We're going straight for 900 now, let's make it happen.
Thanks for the support guys! Tell me what you want to see next :)
Munch you deserve more bro
Honestly with these tutorials being so easy to follow and understand I feel like I'll get the hang of lofi sooner than later. Seems like a good genre to get into for beginners since it appears to be basic, although idk anything about moosicc, so I could b wrong. But anyways, thanks
Thanks man! I'm glad it's helping you. Lo-fi is a nice genre for beginners since its fairly easy to get into. Although it can be just as fun for experienced producers :)
As a Lmms producer I envy you Fl users but still manage to learn a lot , thanks for the tips bud I know they've helped me out!
Very good and straight forward tutorial
You just earned a new subscriber and believe me I will be using this technique in my future song
i would name this song "downtown" or something like that, great video and thx for the tutorial
It really helped me! Thanks a lot!
love your channel bro
awesome stuff man! suggestion for next video : medasin style of track :)
Thanks very useful
Amazing
Great video. Dope beat no lie. Have you considered adding a base to it there by the switch up? I think it'd put the beat over the top. That's just my opinion though.
Clairo!!!
So this is good for beginners who know about the software and tools and all that...
But what if you don't know..any of that... lol. Like if you took someone who had never even thought of producing music and wanted to teach him/her how to make their own LoFi beats, where would you start?
That's me, im learning fl during quarantine, if lucky enough i will make my own (but it seems like not bcuz too hard😂)
Hey, great video man! Question though, where do you find all your ambient sounds? Such as the vinyl sounds, the rain sounds, the people's voices?
Hey! I simply search on RUclips and then i go to a video2mp3 converter :)
Greate video dude. Right now I'm trying to do somethin with the FL but i don't kwno how to found stuff like TS Crash 2! Thanks for help us! ^^
I'm glad youre getting big time man! Only thing is, I ask you for tips all the time, and you're gonna lose time for us old school followers!
Haha but still, you deserve the hype dude!
Anyway, I was wondering where you get your vocal samples from? Like the small fills, such as the one at 3:16
I can never find clean simple fills like that.
Oh, also! I've uploaded a couple of tracks to my channel that I made with your videos, if you're at all interested in seeing what I did with your help! Thanks for all of it, by the way haha
Hey! My following on SoundCloud is still pretty small and I do my best to answer all my messages there, so no worries - I'll do my best to have time for everyone :)
I find a lot of my samples on the /r/drumkits subreddit - you should check it out: www.reddit.com/r/Drumkits/top/?sort=top&t=all
Cool! I'll check it out when i find the time :)
how do you paste the piano loop into the daw?
how to make vaportrap pls
what drum samples are you using munch ?
What are some good free lo-fi packs? mainly for sound effects.
Munch how did you get an automation clip from izotop vinyl?
Kokkuri San last tweaked clip in options
do you have to be specific about which piano loop it is?.
Where i can find this percussion loops? I like it
Or just similar :)
How do you sync the sample with the metronome?
Well for this one it was easy, since I knew the tempo of the sample - then i adjust the tempo in my DAW accordingly. Check out some of my other lo-fi sampling tutorials, I explain what to do when you dont know the tempo your sample :)
uhhh how did they get the drums?
What I dislike about this is the sampled instrument loops. These would be more interesting if people actually arranged their own jazz tracks with this style of aesthetics. More like what Rob Araujo, Anomalie and J3po does.
l0wbtry sounds more authentic and the artist doesnt really learn anything by sampling
Indeed my friend.
Yoo fr. I love seeing the creative techniques people come up with to replicate old song recordings and seeing all that done from scratch
how can you tell everything is in the same key? or see what key a sample is in? i swear nobody stuggles with this as i see it on no comment sections, really good video though man i liked how simple you made it
Sleepless Study Club only the melody samples need to match keys, use KeyFinder it's an application and drag in the sample to the program
Thanks that does help sum it up abit
Sleepless Study Club no problem
i would also like to know how you got the piano sound to go from left to right on my speakers when i was listening to it, was it possibly the modulator?
Technofan330 you can do it by several ways. in fl studio there is. one plug in called fruity balance, which allows you to change the "location" of the sound (left or right). you turn that one on the level you like and then right click on the knob and create an automation clip. when the graph is off, you will hear it stereo and when it is at a several level its gonna be left, for example
Thx for the advice but i have a mac and i use logic pro x, is it any different?
there should be something in the mixer or so whats called balance or panning i guess, but i dont know how automation works in logic. im sure you can find a good tutorial;)
Alright thx anyways you were a very big help to my project that i am working on it, it helped me get the concept
time shift that snare a lil my dood
what software is this and is it free?
The software is FL Studio 11, and no, it's not free. It's actually quite expensive. You can look it up on Google and try out the demo tho!
Amazing video but can I accomplish such a song in Ableton?
How do I add a kick and a snare
The problem I'm having is that I can't find all the ressources you're using. It's so difficult to find a good side with quality kicks/snares/hats and reverse cymbals and so on. Do you have any good site to recommend?
A little late of a response, but a good free place to start for drums is the x.shulz drum kit. You can find a download link to it by searching something like "x.shulz drum kit reddit" or something similar
First step: take someone's music they made
😂
I did not get any of this
I didn’t like the song but the tutorial taught some pretty cool stuff
what about the bpm?
just match the sample
blaxxx thx
not lofi, no reverb.
