My parents had a beautiful creche in our living room. It was about 1.5 feet high by 1.5 feet long & 1 foot deep & my father had affixed tiny, white sparkly lights along the A-line roofline. I used to love sitting on the couch, listening to Christmas music & just looking at it. You're bringing back so many happy childhood memories, Tennielle. Thank you so much, luv. That sounds very lovely 😍 I feel the same about the tree. And never blinking lights only steady ones. My mother always took out the flashing bulbs with the red tip and threw them away first thing. I'm thinking of decorating a yule log and if it's nice we can burn it on Christmas while the kids are here. I think I could find lots of pretty things in the woods to decorate a log with 🤔 just thinking out loud with you, Sista. Oh wow that's beautiful Nil Nil.. We have a few around here outside the churches but they have been modernised.. I remember couple of years ago some fools smashed one up real bad.. Of course these days they have cameras, so they caught the people that did it.. Their face were splash over the news and media and they were caught fast enough they spend Christmas in jail and when they finally got to court they were charged under a real old law of sacrilege (which no one had heard off) and for their trouble they each got 5 years jail time and they have to pay the church restoration fees for the repair of the nativity scene.. Sad thing is it wasn't kids it was 24/25 year olds 💖🐞💖
Well I'm glad they got what they deserved. Everyone has the right to celebrate the holidays as they choose or not but destroying others property just to be mean should be punished. If they don't like it they don't have to look at it. I like it. I much prefer baby Jesus to suffering Jesus. There is a church not far from here that has a huge sign with the crucified christ on it that says this bloods for you. It's gruesome and I don't look at it if I can help it. But I'd never destroy it even if I think it's in bad taste and kinda scary. Do ya'll put up a tree? I'd love to see a picture if you do ❤🎄❤ love you, Sugar
