Shirley is the best rock singer of all time. I used ti say she was the best female rock singer but then I saw Garbage live a few times and she is just plain the best.
She is also a stunningly beautiful woman.

Duke was where he always is Stage Left (audience’s stage right)
The only person that i know of that had to be replaced due to illness was butch. Duke is stage left and right side from your view. Shirley herself stated that she only ever missed ONE single show in her career. They are, to use the term, workhorses. They know and appreciate touring as it gets them close to the people that love and adore them. We, the fans, are also the ones that pay the bills. Barring those too stingy enough to pay for the records. If you are starving, sure. Listen here. Otherwise pay for the damn records.

I am such a garbage addict at the moment i will listen to it after i am done with this one :)> i go through phases like with other artists but right now i am on the worst garbage binge i have ever been on. This makes me realize how good Butch is as a producer. Despite the bad Singing I still have love and good memories of this band back in 1996 when I was just a girl.
Despite her age, she still sing quite well, she si 56 years old, in the 90' she was rebanked, what a voice ando attitude Shirley had!
She actually failed the audition to be in the band initially
While I would agree with you in regards to what she is wearing, her singing is fine. The energy isn't the same as when she was younger but I'd imagine her audience is older too so it's going to be different in that regard...
She just had pretty major hip surgery. She may have been wearing it to cover a brace. This is shortly before the surgery, so she was in pain on this tour.
