Butch and Avery are having a conversation right dead smack in the middle of the song, while playing it. You cant make this shit up. Imagine them bringing the loyal "servant" Avery into the fold and making him part of the band as oppsoed to a paid touring session musician. Imagine what he would contribute. What would we end up with then? Sadly Daniel Shulman was also treated this way and only paid to perform what they more or less wrote. I cant say, since i dont know, what he contributed since he gets no credit barring one song. So we the fans can only assume what we know and that is that he was paid to play the bass only.
@@BobTheCannabisCowboy Been a a fan since 1995 and on average listen to them at least once a day and have done so since 1995. I like them. What can i say? I am a fan. There are people that are out there that are far worse than me and are totally obessed to the point of being mental about them. I am just a fan and pick up little bits of info here and there as you would if you are interested in them. I do love them dearly and i dont give a toss that they are in their 50's. So am i for that matter. We tend to like the music of our youth and this is mine. Along with Alice in Chains, No Doubt, Depeche Mode. I just heard a bad ass cover of Peter Gabriels' Sledgehammer. You would never guess by whom. I certainly did not think much of Harry Styles before that cover but he changed my mind and has my respect now. I play guitar and been drumming for a bit now so music is ok with me. Just make it real, dont use auto-tune, even if your voice is going a bit and all will be good. Records, after all are studio made perfects. Thanks for posting this clip of a song i have heard thousands of times. It never gets old. Peace, out.

How is them talking in the middle of the song connected to Eric being just the tourist bassist? I would assume the decision is mutual for him to just stay touring, he's with Janes Addiction and toured for NIN as well...his plate is pretty full. Do you have any indication it wasn't mutual or not beneficial for Eric to just tour? He's making a ton of cash and doing what he loves.
Love it. Shirley sounding great 💘💘💘🍀🍀🍀🍀
The amount of musical talent on that stage is insane.
What, the complete lack of any?
