- Some "technical difficulties" with the opening curtain gave Shirley Manson some shits'n'giggles that resulted in some lively stage banter before the band played "Only Happy When It Rains". She was quite the Chatty Cathie all night!
I remember dyeing my hair red and wearing doc martins with baby doll dresses my freshman year of high school because of Shirley! Great times:)

I love Garbage... it's moments like this that make them truly one of the greatest bands ever. Mic problems? Most artists nowadays can't perform live, they would have been having playback issues... and they wouldn't be this awesome and cool about it.

Has it been almost five years since the 20 year tour happened? Geez, times flies. My wife and I were there also, around the same location though we were to the left of you. I recall SM came out saying they just wanted to play and not interrupt the songs, but as we all know shit happens. It was such a human moment with the improvised speak. I first saw Garage at the Glass House in Pomona and waited outside until the band came out. Each one of them signed my ticket. One of the greatest bands that came out of the 1990s, right there with Rammstein.
Maybe the greatest power pop song ever (whatever that means) from one of my all time favorite bands.

There is more energy and electricity in a way so its ok to feel energized , moved or happier when it rain. Its physics and not made up . Thats one of the reasons in the song meaning. They are artist and some people never give up their secret, or magic trick or reveal the source.

That was handled extremely well. You may not be able to plan for shit, but if you have developed character it will show in the way you handle it when it happens. Perfect song for the occasion too.

@@lucakat9262 When you upload a video, it gives you the option of uploading a main 'cover' image. I took stills that night and the one with the guitar came out best. So I used it. No law that says the still has to come from the same song as the video...
