    Maxtang claimed issues regarding Ludashi and Windows will be fixed, but until we get another computer from them it's impossible to know for sure that it is rectified. If you bought one, please reply here on if everything is hunky dorey 🙂

    It's like...before any Mini PC company releases a product, they have a meeting. There they discuss the product in detail and make sure, after a lot of work, to never ever ever release a Mini-PC model in the open without at least one main, stupid, easily avoidable, negative.
    Great review and thank you very much for opening the other side for the fan. You are awesome for doing that.

    Hopes the DDR5 doesnt overheat like the minisforum 7 7735hs mini pc. The overheating will drop the fps down to 30%.

    Update, Just witness the ddr5 hit 70c -79c. Wow! it needs the cooling fan for sure. 15mins in game will drop the fps down due to ddr5 overheating.

      70-79 degrees is acceptable. Could be something else that's triggering it.
      Can you give any more info ? What tdp are you running at ? What game and settings ?

    A dodgy cable, Windows with an issue...Not great, but to be fair, my GMKTek K6 arrived set to boot from USB, so these things do happen. The most annoying thing was the 2.5 cable telling you not to get it the wrong way, yet making no effort to explain the letter marking, ok, M = Motherboard sounds right, but with no confirmation anywhere from the company, who knows what could have happened. Not good.

    • @TeamPandory
      @TeamPandory  3 месяца назад

      @@Mclaneinc I think a lot of these problems could be fixed quite easily. The sata thing needs an insert, OS is all software side, and the cable maybe more checks ? The PSU is okay if you intend on leaving it at 35w.
      - if the computer had something like an overheating nvme / SSD / CPU issue, then it'd need it's case redesigned which is a huge ball ache.

      @@TeamPandory I just wonder how they don't find these things before release. I remember in the days of the launch of the Xbox, I was then working for a computer company and we also sold games and consoles. We ordered an Xbox pod for the shop side, only to find that when left on the consoles went dead very quickly because they were over heating and then being in a pod under a bubble for protection, that only exacerbated the issue. How MS got to the point of release with a serious heat issue that also happened if the carpet in a house etc. Sure, they 'mostly' fixed it but still managed the same thing in the 360, but those pods were not cheap. When it happened the first time in the shop area, I was asked to see what the issue was and as I lifted the pod cover it was clear that these poor buggers were roasting. Hence, the moan to see stuff getting marketed with pretty serious issues that no one found or just ignored. Sure, new products are not cheap, there SHOULD be a serious amount of testing, but I've seen so many shortcuts when we were offered new products at Maplin. We actually tested a model boat from out your way Tim, (why we were selling these god awful item's in a semi competition with Tandy, yet we were an established electronic component firm, why sell tat). Anyway, I can say with total honesty, the boat kept sinking, we tried 3 models, 2 sank every time. Makes me think of the saying, "you had one job", which sadly isn't true, as they had lots to look at. Just saying...Paul..Anyhow, top marks on the video Tim..

    The cons are a tad annoying indeed and take the gloss off. The rubber feet scenario has been solved by others for ages. Feet with holes to insert a screwdriver, no removal required.

    • @TeamPandory

      True, but how many others allow you to easily pull out the board to get to the CPU ? 😅
