I’ve found lots of folks from her and my parents generation are big rule followers and first thought isnt to break them. It’s hard for them to assume bad things about ppl who have seemingly worked hard like why would they just to break the rules?

The fact that he didn't want to try to make her look bad and let her do it to herself speaks volumes to who he is a person and who she is as a person. She a lying thief and she mad cause she got embarrassed.

The thing that stuck out to me the most here is when she said that she gave him the $1000 when he got out and wanted nothing to do with him or to ever see him again and gave absolutely no reason to why she would suddenly not want anything to do with him, especially after, according to her, he GAVE her all of that money... Right there, told me everything I needed to know and that she stole that money from him because basically the same thing happened with my family. One of my Uncles screwed the rest of his siblings, including my Mom, out of some of their inheritance, leaving him to make out disproportionately more than the others and even though the family was obviously upset about this, we still wanted to stay together as a family but it was him that suddenly dropped us and wanted nothing to do with the family, even though he was the one in the wrong... That's what happens when guilt takes over. She knew she did him dirty and didn't want to have to keep facing him.
My Dad was institutionalized the last 15 years of his life because he had severe a mental illness, so he couldn’t live alone anymore.
Two of his brothers were supposed to take care of his finances, but when he passed away, we found out they had stolen more than $100000 from him over the years.
I tried taking these two disgraceful thieves to court, but unfortunately my funds were not enough to pay the required legal fees, so I had to pull the plug on the case and they simply got away with it.
It’s disgusting how often, as soon as money is in the picture, family members resort to lying and stealing from other family members!

Family is supposed to be the people you can always count on in this life but what I've found is that they're usually the first to screw you over and take advantage of you, ESPECIALLY when it comes to money. I've seen it time and time again with several families, from all walks of life and backgrounds. And they almost always justify it to themselves because they think they are entitled to it, whether it be they want something from you for free or at a discount, they want you to forgive their debt with you, they expect handouts or repeated help, or they try to take more or all of an inheritance, insurance payout, or that person's valuables because they "deserve it" the most, they "need it" the most, they "earned it", their entitled to it or were "told" it would go to them... I've seen it all, every excuse in the book. Although the saddest is always when they throw away their relationship with their family over something so small and meaningless because they're just that greedy and/or petty.

Why would he not want his money when he got of prison, I don’t believe he just said here have at it, cuz when he gets out he’s gonna need money. I think she just started spending a little here and there and thought I’ll b able to put it back, but time flies and she didn’t have time to put back what she spent, so she decided to act dumb and say “well I thought he wanted me to take care of family,” which sounds ridiculous.

I've held money for incarcerated friends and family, and I've never thought to take their money. Usually, they lose everything by going to jail, so why would I take their last bit.

I hate that this judge thinks she knows EVERYTHING about everything guess what the EXACT same thing happend 2me. I bailed out amd when i got 2 court the DA ask "how'd he get out?" I told her i bailed out and the DA turned 2the judge and says " it was too easy 4him 2get out" they talkD then added another charge and i was reprimanded right back N2 custody
They added a charge for you, which is what she said must’ve happened here. My friend was bailed out and charges dropped, then picked up again on Fed charges the next day
@@t10events11 But, randomly adding a charge just bc you didn't like that he got out is wrong. When JM said something about adding a charge, I thought that she meant that he did something after he bailed out. That's not the same as them deciding after the bailout that they're going to add previous charges. That is just wrong.
This really makes me angry. I'm no law expert, but something about this seems wrong. You should consult with some type of free legal aid group to see if your rights were violated...To me, this is like your parents telling you that you have to do certain chores bc you did something wrong. You finish the chores really quickly and they get upset that it was too easy, so they give you more chores and say that it's about something else that they already know that you did when they first gave you the chores.
I dont see someone being incarcerated for that amount of time willing to GIVE money away, knowing they have no other money coming in once released. Doesn't make sense. She took that money

The court is crooked. I've actually seen them do this before. I posted the persons bail and while waiting on release I was then informed that it was reversed and I did not get money back😮🤬

Well, she said that she wants nothing to do w him. That's how it goes. You loan someone money and when they don't want to pay it back, they create a conflict so that they can try to avoid you.

It does happen it happened to my son in Arizona you bailed him out for the 700 and then when he went to court for the next hearing they remanded him in again no additional violations no term violations went to court like he was supposed to and they put him back in custody and reverse it

A few months ago, I saw a court case on YT where a judge found out that someone was in JAIL when he shouldn't have been.
4yrs for possession of stolen property. That seems steep.

I'm 52. I have never given money, or had someone give me money, for jail stuff - bonds, bail, commissary - i know what the words mean, but i really have no idea what they are talking about. I would hate to be a lawyer and to have a career that enables this whole routine.
