Followed directions to the tee with my Profitec Pro 800 and found that the machine dispenses water both on the downward and upward motion of the lever--not just prewetting, but a stream of water. Not right. Puzzled, and waiting for some help. Anyone?

Hi Jeff, sorry it is not that clear what you mean. When you pull the lever down you will of course allow water to enter the chamber. The piston position at which the water can flow is fixed, it could only be affected by a change in the position of the piston to the inside sleeve. Without looking at the machine on hand, I would guess that the middle seal is possibly oriented incorrectly (groove should face up) or that the height of the piston has changed somehow. Paul
