Best compliment someone can give you is to copy you...and Gill does a great job on this one. Only watched the video bc Randy died today. He had some sad times but will be remembered as a gentleman who created some great music.

I know I’m going to get blasted for this, but it’s true. Vince Gill is such a natural fit in the Eagles sound that, in some songs such as this one, he makes it sound so much better than even the original. He just does. Deal with it.

Randy Meisner’s song! In this performance Vince Gill hits all the right notes, but .. he doesn’t have the passionate expression that Randy delivers when he sings .
Couldn’t have said it better myself. This is enjoyable for sure. But Randy just had a magic to his singing - that little catch he had in his voice- man he was so good and under appreciated.
I love Vince as a vocalist but this is Randy’s song along with Take It To The Limit. Can’t help but wonder if The Eagles would have had the success they did if not for Randy. Great job Vince but some songs should only be done by the original artist.
