I never watched the sub series as I grew up with the dub , it still sounds great and was great in dub. I’ll probably add sub in my list to do in the future.
Not sure why, but I never had that reaction even though I kept missing episodes. I think the pale skin with the mask really helps, you know? Although it would be cool if the smiley face emblem managed to make its way into Beelemon's design, like how he wears the bandana on his arm. Maybe have it be like a patch on his jacket or something?
Honestly every evolution looks different from the previous although there are some touches that lets you know it’s them. Like how Wargreymon doesn’t look like Agumon but the colors orange and yellow and green let’s you know a little bit.
Beelzemon is without a doubt my favourite humanoid digimon. The long limbs, spiked boots, deadly claws, dual sawn-offs, fur-collared jacket and kicks motorcycle made for a design that was truly one of a kind. He radiates power, with a touch of smug class. The way he draws and lines up his shotguns is the coolest thing ever, and he's no slouch in close combat either. He can kick, punch, slash, stab or simply crush you. And then when it goes back to normal motion, the chysalimon look like they’re suddenly disappearing which shows that the bullets that killed them were so fast that they looked invisible
Beelzemon is easily one of my favorite digimon in general; but doubly so for being the best "Heel-Face turn" character for the season. And considering in this season we had the Hypnos group as a whole, Antylamon, and Zuqiaomon all pulling such turns, that speaks volumes.
Absolutely. So far he might have my favorite redemption arc in the series. Ken had a lot going for him, but it felt like they tried a little too hard to take the guilt off of him at the end with the whole "Isn't Digimon just a game?" thing. Beelzemon just grows as a person and he never really asks for forgiveness, he just wants to be someone better and fix what he's caused to happen.

@@theonewhoismany8072 well still diaboromon wouldn't be threat to him considering his fight with megidramon was effecting and destroying the Digtial world.
The English dub removed all the nuance and emotion from the scene. A big theme in Digimon Tamers is the lack of absolute morality, with Jianliang being described the Devas. "Good and evil change depending on the point of view. When the point of view changes, everything else shifts with it." With this scene, we're supposed to be seeing it from Beelzebumon's perspective. It's a triumphant and cool moment, showing that Impmon finally got all the power that he wanted. This is included with a theme song describing his motivations and choices that he's made in life that helped get him to this spot in the first place. The English dub completely guts all of this with the cheesey and over the top scary music, which hardly fits in with the choreography. The Chrysalimon screaming as they're being destroyed in the English dub makes no sense either. Digimon are supposed to love fighting at their core, it's what they were programmed and made to do, especially with Digimon like the Chrysalimon shown here that have no Tamer. The Chrysalimon would be excited at having the chance to devour the data of such a strong opponent. The first scene shows them gearing up for an attack against Beelzebumon despite only being adult level Digimon, then suddenly they're screaming in terror. Which makes no sense. And I can't leave out the awful voicing of Infermon with his special move. The English dub completely guts most of the scenes of Tamers and what it's trying to do with it's themes and concepts.
This might sound weird since normally it's almost always a win in the musical department for me with the JP version, but... I feel like the dub fits the tone way better here, since it's meant to show how "beyond" the average opponent Beelzemon was becoming.
Honestly I wonder if the Diaboromon line is the equivalent of a digital world pest (with what we know from the Digimon adventure anime) so you could argue Beelzemon was doing the digital world a service here.
well if Donedevimon wasn't a mindless Digimon, Devimon would have had similar mood considering it took them like forever years to give him his own official Mega evolution lol. (not counting Daemon)
I feel like I could argue that Lilithmon counts because I'm pretty sure Lady Devimon canotically evolves from champion Devimon, and Lilithmon's an evolution of Lady Devimon in the same way that Ophanimon's an evolution of Angewomon. But it's not quite the same as Devimon having his own specific line.

@Krystian Zięba this is why i compare Done devimon to Broly from Dragon ball then say Kid buu. since he has intelligence and calm side to him. we only saw the mindless berserk side of Done Devimon throughout the episode.

Beelzemon over Piedmon, though, easy, any day.
That'd be so funny. He's just grinning like a madman as he casually shoots these things, and then suddenly they turn into a Mega and start actually fighting back. That's... pretty big... Well, I'll just give it a taste of my Double Impact and- It does nothing. Huh. Well, crap!"
I would argue that Beelzebumon would still handle Diaboromon, Diaboromon is a beast among normal Megas, but Beelzebmon isn't a normal Mega, he's a Great Demon Lord. Armagemon would be way too much for him since he took out Omegamon.
Like how Infermon (English dub) is voiced by what appears to be a teenager good at monster impressions compared to the previous English dub actor in the 2001 movie (not).
I actually have a full playthrough on this channel in a playlist, it's the second game I've streamed here. Which means audio quality is pretty bad, but other than that it's a good run. And the strongest ones are already insane, like Lucemon Fallen Mode was owning Alphamon, Omegamon, and four other RKs at once in ReArise, and Leviamon should be about on par with Examon AFAIK
Sub wins!!
"But Digimon is a rip off of pokemon" yeah right.
My favourite ever Digimon
Also Digimon Tamer show might be after 2020 since official Digimon have been heavily promoting Tamers related stuff in magazines, social media, etc.
That's because the 20th anniversary of Tamers happened a few weeks ago.
No the sequel was cancelled in favor of the Adventure reboot. They were gonna do a Tamers 2020 but the idea was scrapped in favor of Adventure, and a reworked version of the initial first episode script was read live in August this year at Digifes

Beelzemon is still a beast 22 years later from when he first premiered in the US.
The Japanese groove music for the sub is nice though.
I would like to know why the shotguns only shoot 1 bullet 😅
'Cause one shot's all he needs
He's using slugs instead of shot.
It always baffles me how bad american dubs ,of that time especially, are xD
Man, this Infermon was so slow it was a disgrace to the Infermon from Our War Game. My disappointment is exactly the same now as it was back then.
I get that this one-off mook Infermon can't really be compared to the main antagonist of that movie, but still...
Oh yeah, absolutely. I get the point that Beelzemon would have killed it anyways, but when you're working with TV budgets, what you gonna do, right?
well Beelzemon is one of the 7 deadly sins demon lord Digimon. So Nether Infermon from movie or this one would be any much threat to him. Power wise he is comparable to other Demon lords Like Daemon, lucamon, etc and Royal Knights.
@@undead4500 This Beelzebumon isn't a Demon Lord just as the Tamers Dukemon is not a Royal Knight
@@theonewhoismany8072 well still diaboromon wouldn't be threat to him considering his fight with megidramon was effecting and destroying the Digtial world.
To be fair infermon is a ultimate and beezlemon is a mega level demon lord digimon
0:01-2:35: I never thought I'd say this but, poor Chrysalimon.
I feel the original scene was going more "Look how cool he is now" rather than any dramatic impacts. lol
Sub because Black Intruder slaps.
Because the Kurisarimon didn't appear in the movie, I remember freaking when they became Infermon.
Honestly I wonder if the Diaboromon line is the equivalent of a digital world pest (with what we know from the Digimon adventure anime) so you could argue Beelzemon was doing the digital world a service here.
Yeah
A few episode later there were some Diaboromon helping the holy beasts to protect the Digital World.
@@darkmarv8045 “no one is gonna destroy the digital world before I do” - Diaboromon
What's the song's name?
The official name is Black Intruder
@@dethhollow thank you so much 🙌🔥
well if Donedevimon wasn't a mindless Digimon, Devimon would have had similar mood considering it took them like forever years to give him his own official Mega evolution lol.
@@dethhollow
She actually evolves from Black Tailmon (Black Gatomon) and Marine Devimon evolves from Gesomon.
Not all Devil-species Digimon come from same evolution.
(Neo and Done) Devimon are not corrupted or evil version of any Rank Angel digimons (Like Holy Angemon etc) they are direct Evolution of Devimon who took his powers to next levels.
@Krystian Zięba
this is why i compare Done devimon to Broly from Dragon ball then say Kid buu. since he has intelligence and calm side to him.
we only saw the mindless berserk side of Done Devimon throughout the episode.
@@undead4500 Calm side? According to the reference book, it's either normal, or mindless beserk. His, "just a little angry," is full on rage.

Dub wins as the music is more foreboding and builds up how much of a threat Beelzemon is Subs music makes it obvious he’s going to turn over a new leaf at some point
Japanese>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>dub
As someone who doesn't know this version of beelzemon, I am very scared.
I only know the one from xros wars
I'm scared who is this.
Haven't seen Xros Wars, but in Tamers he's a friend that becomes an antagonist and then has a full-on redemption arc.
@@dethhollow
So I should be scared
@@aierisfrost8447 Sure, why not?
He originaly was planned as protagonist with a darker Path for Digimon Tamers, but someone who had today something didn't like that and so it got changed that at some Point he will ne the bad Guy and his actions are still considered today after 20 Years among the cruelst Things done in Digimon.
@@markomarinic3073 I would kind-of debate that a bit, because sure, it was super impactful and it lead to the darkest arc in the series. But if you think about it, Piedmon is responsible for a few more deaths and he nearly captured the entire Adventure group on his own. Still really cool info, though.
Beelzemon over Piedmon, though, easy, any day.
Japanese always better
Japanese its infinite times better
i really dont fell any arrogance fom the english voice
Beelzemon is lucky.... krizalidmon evolve to infermon not diaboromon
That'd be so funny. He's just grinning like a madman as he casually shoots these things, and then suddenly they turn into a Mega and start actually fighting back. OR WORSE, Calamon's symbol shines and they manage to turn into Armageddemon for a bit, lol!
"Aw yeah, look how cool I am! Guns are where it's at! Wait... what are they... OHHH... That's... pretty big...
People trying so hard on DUB,
while most of the scene from very adv 01
They are all RIDICULOUS
These westerners never see it, so sad
Proof that subbed is better than dubbed
I can agree. I like dub more. I like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and others in sub.

Beelzemon lo shadow dei digimon
Like how Infermon (English dub) is voiced by what appears to be a teenager good at monster impressions compared to the previous English dub actor in the 2001 movie (not).
Beelzemon looks like:
CellBuuZer (the Triple-fusion between Cell, Kid Buu, and Frieza) in Final Form, a character of Dragon Ball AF.
He’s basically Bandit Keith as a digimon
Source?
Like where I got the clips orrr....?
The anime is called "Digimon Tamers/Digimon 03"
The English Dub definitely hit the dark tone !!
sir.do you ever play digimon world 3? does this beelzemon evolution avaible? but not blast mode(beelzemon with wing)
I actually have a full playthrough on this channel in a playlist, it's the second game I've streamed here. Which means audio quality is pretty bad, but other than that it's a good run. Unfortunately you can't get normal Beelzemon, but at least Blast Mode made it in. It's just REALLY hard to get because you need to level up the entire Devimon/Myotismon line first, if I remember right.
What was bizarre choice of music for that scene in japanese.
Bizarre? Sure. But I also kind-of love it, lol. It just feels so triumphant and try-hard, it fits Beelzemon so well in such a weird way.
It's his character theme: Black Intruder and it fits him pretty well.
It's more bizarrere that the english doesn't have it. Seriously, is that the only Version that doesn't have that Music played?
@@markomarinic3073 It might be. For some reason, Dub companies were TERRIFIED of any non-english music or words getting into the show, they even ripped out the original score and changed dialogue to claim Japanese text was 'digital code', even though it's also in the real-world arcs.
