Please never be ashamed of crying to a song like this. I love your reactions. I’m a 72 years old man and I cry every time I hear this sing. I can tell by the way I see your reactions that you love your wife very much and she love you. Please don’t change. You are sentimental and that’s a wonderful thing.
I am 52 and did 23 years in navy. I don't cry much, but this song gets me. I love your reactions because they are always authentic. And the love you have is special. Never give it up. I've been married 29 years, and I feel that way about my wife and kids.
I’m a 69 year old man and ALWAYS shed tears over this song. NEVER be ashamed of your tears! Tears are the antiseptic of the soul! Wonderful reaction! 👍
Please know That when you begin to cry I immediately subscribed to your channel. The whole reason that we watch reaction videos is To validate how this song made us feel when we 1st heard it as well. I love this song I've always loved this song I'm watching you react helps me relive that feeling. Thank you for being genuine
Its a reaction channel. No truer reaction that tears when a song moves you. Love your reactions. Im 75 and my wife died 2 years ago. All i can do is remember when.
One of my favorite lines in a song “Remember when old ones died and new were born, and life was changed, disassembled, rearranged” MAN…such truth right there !!! God Bless the ❤️ you have for each other. 🙏🏽✌️💜🎶🌏
A beautiful song . My wife and I have been together for 61 years . I was 19 and she was 17 when we married . Our first son was born 6 days after my 20th birthday Some really hard times , some really good times . I often find myself thinking about something we did and then say to myself , MY God that was 40 years ago , or whatever . You have to live with the decisions you make and make the best of them because there is no way of knowing what would have happened if you made another choice . I realize I'm sounding too much like Dr. Pangloss who said , " In this best of all possible worlds , all things always turn out for the best " LOL The best country music always tells true life stories and taps into real feelings
@@MerchantOfAlba We were married for 14 years , then divorced for 25 years ,but for all but about a year of that we lived together , then we re-married and have now been re-married for 22 years . The crazy highs and lows of the first time around are gone now , but we enjoy a much more mellow and peaceful relationship now , age has worn off a lot of the rough edges of both of us
I am much older than both of you, and I have always shown emotions and true feelings when I hear songs or things that affect me. I have learned that it takes more strength to be true to yourself and not be afraid to show your feelings than it does to try to hide those feelings and follow the crowd. Be true to yourself, and you will be happier in life. I always love your honest, heartfelt reaction ♥️.
I played this for my wife last summer on our 34th wedding anniversary. We danced and shed a tear for the four beautiful daughters that have since grown up and moved away. We shed a tear of happiness for the nine beautiful grandchildren that have come into our lives. We smiled at each other about the wrinkles and gray hair that we now have. I blinked, now, here we are. I am truly touched by your reaction. That is what life is about, living today, telling those we love how we feel. Knowing that tomorrow is promised to no one. God bless you both, Remember when. Joseph Mallard, Idaho, United States of America.
Alan is an Amazing song writer. He wrote this for his wife. It absolutely was his wife. And his 3 daughters in the video. Sadly Alan is not in good health right now. Nothing wrong with shedding tears on this one. It's a song of reminiscing of life. 🎉❤ We can all relate
Alan Jackson's favourite singer is LeeAnn Womack (best known for I Hope You Dance), I had never heard this song before, I remember watching CMA 40th anniversary 2005 and they had Lee Ann sing this song to Alan part of his tribute. Hard to believe it has been almost 20 years, but that tribute is seared into my memory. It's a great song that is completely relatable to almost all of us. Thanks for sharing your soul(s) with us through these reactions.
Don’t be ashamed of your tears . You’re fortunate to have the heart of an artist who is able to see the beauty in the world around you. Feel bad for those people who cannot see, appreciate, or understand their surroundings.
Its fine dude, i cry to this every time i listen to it. Its pretty much the way all guys want to look back on their relationship when we are old and grey, well be glad for all the life we have had. Any man that lives with someone they truly love will cry to this song!
My late hubby and I had 51 wonderful years together before his passing. When I hear this song, it puts a smile on my heart remembering all the things we had .
I've heard this song over 300 times and it still chokes me up. So I understand completely the emotion. Something else to remember he wrote almost all of his own songs. That was his real wife and daughters in the video.
Good honest reaction to a good honest song. I might suggest "Where were you when the world stopped turning" and "Midnight in Montgomery", by Alan Jackson. El Mirage, Arizona, USA
Alan married his high school sweetheart Denise in 1979 & they have been married 45 years & they have 3 daughters. This is his song to his wife & that is her & his girls in the video. His songs speak the truth, raw & real. He can make you smile too. 'Drive' is a sweet song about his dad & 'Chattahoochee' is a fun summer song. His song after 9/11 called 'Where were you when the world stopped turning' described exactly how we all felt that day, as Americans. He gets to the heart of things, for sure.
Sir I admire that allow yourself to be tender with this video. This song is written to bring out that kind of emotion. It just proves you have a heart!
That song was released a year after my wife and I got married, and its been so long since I last heard that song it was like I was hearing it again for the first time. It brought back a flood of emotions from 22 years of my own marriage. I went through our wedding photos and we look like children back then, we were so young. The line in the song that really hit me hard was “olds one’s die”. We both lost our father within a couple months of each other in 2022 and I hear this song it still feels fresh.
"Remember when 30 seemed so old. Now looking back, it's just a stepping stone". That was 30yrs ago for me. And at times it seems like it was yesterday. And other times, it seems so far back.
This song always brings me to tears because I remember when my husband and I were young and now we are watching our Grandchildren grow up. They are happy tears really because I know how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband, children and delightful Grandchildren. It all has passed so quickly.
When ever I hear this beautiful song I turn into a total mess . I'm 6'6" and 280lbs played all sports and bounced for a few bars at times but this song gets me Everytime . So Andrei I'm with ya . At 70 years old I cherish these songs that tug on the ole heart strings and remember when Vicky (my sole mate, wife)and I met 48 years ago .
I've said this before in the comments to your reactions guys, but don't mind saying it again - Please NEVER change. Your raw and honest emotions are what draw your subscribers to this channel. Thank you for sharing this with us all 🙏
Dude, I’ve heard this song a thousand times since I was in my mid twenties. It still makes me drop a tear from time to time. Especially “the sound of little feet was the music we danced to week to week.” All 4 of mine are grown up and moved away now.
I’m barely 32 myself - haven’t heard this song in probably 15 years but it brought back so much memory and nostalgia from growing up. It definitely hits different now - I was sobbing along with you. ❤
Don't feel bad that you cry .we all feel the same way when you have a wonderful life with your wife and children? And you don't want toget old. Its normal

Tears are not a sign of weakness, they are a sign of Strength. Only Love, Compassion, Empathy, Goodness and Faith can conquer Hate, Vengeance, Evil, Cruelty and Emotionless for these are the weakness of men. Love and Emotion Conquer all for it is the Armor of a True Man.
I too get tears in my eyes whenever I hear this song and many others like it. It is an extraordinary way to define life in its short span in such a beautiful melodic way. I think the more you listen to it, it will make even more sense to you both and will love it even more. I appreciate your honesty, Thank You both.
When Alan wrote this song, he didn’t even really want to put it out there thinking no it’s too personal. But the genius of Alan Jackson and his songwriting is that he writes about what’s personal and real to him but as fellow humans that have been around a while, resonate with the rest of us, we are all part of the human condition
Alan Jackson was my first favorite artist, since I was about 4 years old in the mid 1990's. He's on my Mount Rushmore of favorite artists, and has a huge catalog of great songs.

This is one of my favorite songs ever. I think it gives people a happy cry.
There are about 100 songs that make me cry. I used to want to hide it, now as I’m older I know it’s the best part of me coming out

Very few people can put their emotions into words, this dude was special.
Strong has nothing to do with having feelings. My dad was the strongest man I ever met, he taught me to cry.
