Yes, i had to admit that i copped both colorways via resale. and i felt for the jjjjound minimalist style. i initially copped only the white pair, but the black grew more on me and i decided to pull the trigger. i sold my jordan 1 taxi and my jordan 1 og powder blue to fund for that. however, i did not regret it cos the shoes are so nice and comfortable. Going to beat the black pair and keeping the white pair on ice.

I like em and I'm sure they're more comfortable than all the other models they've released. They're more comfortable than any pair of New Balances that's for sure. I copped the Naked Copenhagen pair for retail at Bodega and imo it's a better colorway than both of Jjjjbound ASICS.

welcome back! been waiting for your review of these. i love this pair so much, i got lucky and hit on a raffle. i love the minimal aesthetic, and its what jjjjound is known for. high quality pair of shoes nonetheless, glad to have them for the fall rotation. however i would not have paid resale for these
I'm surprised people prefer the black pair since it looks even more similar to GR colour way in my opinion. I prefer the white pair, very crispy, but keep in mind that I wear almost solely white sneakers.
Totally agree with you Josh, apart from that, I would add that isn’t this the same for the NB collabs they did? I mean, kind of, there are no similar colorways in GR but jjjjound hasn’t changed any material, right?
I like them...but the 14RE's are on another level IMHO. I was so impressed I bought a standard pair of 14's as they are both a WAY better motion control shoe than any Asics Kayano since the 21. The latest Kayano's (I've also got 25's, 26 and 27) use a mesh forefoot and they just let your foot move around too much. They also don't last anywhere near as well as the earlier designs (21's and earlier). I really would give a thumbs up to the Kayano 14...go for the RE if you want a mega design. 👍🏻😎
They’re definitely a clean pair but imo anyone buying them for resale is bugging when there’s so many GR pairs that are just as good if not better. I understand wanting a little hype and to own a pair where “if you know you know” but not worth it

I like this pair more than the black/white pair only bc that c/w doesn't even look like a collab, just looks like a GR. This white pair does too but it's just cleaner imo.

JJJJound collabs tend to be understated and GRish...that's their MO, but this time they barely touch them. I prefer the other pair because you can do no wrong with a cream midsole. They are more comfortable than I expected, might buy a GR pair of these as beaters for the clubbing.
Love these but these aren’t worth resell. It’s mainly hype driving these pairs up. They look like a lot of the gr pairs anyways. Thanks for not buying into the hype 🙌🏽

I personally love the pair especially in this colorway. The silver and creme accents go really well
