I use the 2002r for running since the heel is a lot lower than the new modern running shoes. Anyone in the comments that runt with the kayano 14?
I would say the Kayano 14 would be solid for running, they were originally a running shoe before they became a "streetwear" shoe

I've never owned the 1130 but I would think that the comfort is similar
the kayano 14 is designed to be a stability shoe. that's why its midsole doesn't feel as "cloudy" as the 2002r or 1906. trying to compare their comfort without having that in mind just feels a bit unfair. if you are looking for an asics with a similar feel in the midsole, check out the 1130, nimbus 9 or quantum 360. cheers

Kayano is better all day. My New Balance started falling apart within a few months.
No way, i wear and beat tf out of My 2002rs for 6 months every day getting 15k-20k steps and they look used but still amazing condition its the best quality up there with 990s

If you just like Kayano better just say that. But No new balances are falling apart.. they are made very well

Disagree.....new balance 2002r is like the cadillac full size sedan of sneakers. Comfortable and the build quality is top notch. I have been using them for jogging as well as lifestyle for the last 10 months.....solid as a rock. For the first time I don't feel like my feet hurt despite a full day on my feet kinda job.
