My bro!!! THANK YOU so much for these videos!!! I was born with no hands and have always loved aviation. It has always been like my impossible dream. But these videos just help me enjoy it so much more and the way you make them helps me feel as if I'm there! So, for that, THANK YOU!
Your dream is not impossible. I just saw a video of a pilot named Jessica cox, and she has no arms. If you got a dream make it happen.
Hey Carlos. There is something known as SODA. Statement of Demonstrated Ability which can help you fly. Check it out on FAA!
@@ethanpokorny9193 I’ve seen some videos of her! So inspiring!
@@AlphaAtharv hey bro!! Yes! I’ve heard of it and have done some research about it. It’s definitely one of those things where I’m afraid of the answer being no. Lol but thank you so much!!!
I'll bet you could fly if you got the right prosthetics...
I'm almost 70 years old, I have got to say this was the most breath taking Aviation101 video I have seen to date. Mt. Denali is one GODS most beautiful sculptures, I have-ever seen. Josh, and Chris thank you so munch. God bless safe flights ahead...
I almost cried just watching this, I can only imagine how beautiful it is IRL. Thank you for sharing this awesome aviation experience with us! Definitely another item on my bucket list!!
“Caution. Terrain.” That seems like an understatement.
Yeah. DUH!
Amazing views! Thanks Josh, and Chris, for making this possible and for the continued inspiration to pursue my license!
I spent 4 days hiking & camping in the Denali wilderness. It was incredible. You need a backcountry permit to go explore but it’s worth it. I can’t imagine flying around from above.
How is your music always so on-point? Every one of these videos is a love-letter to aviation. Thank you for sharing these experiences with us!
Great music.
10:54 the vortices 🤩
Circled around Denali at FL230 in a Cirrus. Speechless scenery
I believe the film did 'it justice' and certainly one of the most wonderful vistas on earth.
G,day from Sydney Australia.
I think it's the first time seeing you in the backseat of a light plane!
🌏🇦🇺
Wow! Palmer's panel turned out amazing! Almost wasn't paying attention to it with all the stellar views. Great video. Good luck on your checkride. Not that you'll need luck.
The majesty of the moment is breath taking! Thank you for sharing your experience. Josh you are very generous to allow us to see this through lens of your camera & the excellent editing. I am most grateful!
Josh, as always.. incredible. Played this on my big 4k tv with the surround cranked... the music was spot on and the videography.... professional. On the highest level.
You need to quit making youtube and call nat geo.
I'm rewatching it for the third time, and I'm STILL teary-eyed. This is an absolute masterpiece of a video. Obviously, it's nothing like being there in person, but we thank you, Josh, and everyone else involved for bringing this beauty to our TV screens and computers.
Wow. That takes some serious mountain flying experience to safely pull off. 4 people in a 172 plus survival gear (how much over gross?!) committing to that gap with just a few hundred feet clearance at most. Thrilling and given my inexperience with that kind of flying, scary!
Growing up flying in AK in my Dad's PA -17 I have seen many of Alaska's most gorgeous wildness locations. That said, I was in my 50's before I flew Ruth's Glacier and landed on Pica Glacier in a K2 Aviation Beaver. To this day I have a loss for words as to the impact of this terrain. Makes a human feel very small. Love adventure flying. That is the Super Bowl of adventure flying.
Again. My mind is blown at the beauty of Alaska. Phew. Thanks again bud. Stay safe.
The views are so incredible! I took my first flight lesson last week and watching videos like this make me so excited to be an aviator!
Superb. Splendid narration. Appreciation of beauty. Technically competent without being boring. Good sense of humor. My guess is that your parents knew what they were doing.
Hope to see this in 2023 on my trip up in my Comanche. Getting really tired of this covid crap. Beautiful video.
The new panel tho 🔥
N2423U with its new panel… before the angle of attack series finished. Sweet flight, sweet panel.
First thing I noticed too.
Seeing the wonders of God's creation is most definitely a religious experience. I had one when we had our total Solar Eclipse back in 2017, so I understand what you're feeling. And you guys are totally awake. This is one of those video's that I had to share on my FB page. Amazing!
Wow, beautiful footage of the mountains, and little spoiler seeing 2423’s new dash!! Love it!
This was last summer. Has he not made a video since then?
God's country! Breathtaking footage! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Josh, video like this is a public service! I got to fly that country in an F-15E years ago, but never in a GA airplane since. Really an inspiration, and nice work making the most of nature’s best scenery.
@@sethadams4871 Hmmmm. In that case, please send a link to “extraordinary” 🤔
@@sethadams4871 Ahh, sorry I missed that one. I was at SJ for the B and TX courses, but only Mt Home (x2) and Elmendorf in ops, so unfortunately no time in the Chiefs/Rockets
Utterly beautiful !!!!
In 1994 I was doing a consulting gig on the Pipeline and had a chance to fly around Denali to the Denali Backcountry Lodge for a long weekend. The vistas were spectacular and the Dall sheep were at our elevation. Nothing like it!
Amazing. Gotta try this on FS2020. I can see how pilots could get disoriented and distracted with the winds near mountains, and the deceitfulness of “perceived” terrain level (looking lower than it is). I definitely want to add Alaska to my bucket list even if I’m not yet a pilot. Seems like a very underrated, best kept secret of the US (though I’m not a huge fan of the cold)
BREATHTAKING, OVERWHELMING, SPECTACULAR, DAZZLING, MIND-BENDING, GORGEOUS, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, BEAUTIFUL, SPIRITUAL, INSPIRING, INCREDIBLE, ENNOBLING, HUMBLING, FANTASTICAL!!!!!
Man that was one of your best videos thank you for sharing it!
why so amazing im from south africa alaska is beautiful
I’ve rewatched the intro at least 5 times. Such great editing and music choice, the timing is impeccable man!
Definitely a dream to get to fly my 175 there someday y’all are so lucky 🍀👍🏻👍🏻 thank you for the videos
I literally cried in front of this video, like a dream, I'm stuck on the ground Because I can't finance my flight lessons at the moment, but I'll get there, I promise I'll get there, keep making me dream with such great videos! Many thanks from France
AWESOME! WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS! 👍❤🙏😊
Dude!!
That is so totally beyond awesome!!🙏🙏🤩🤩
Unreal scenery. Thanks for sharing. This is really inspiring to go flying somewhere beautiful right now!
I've seen Denali sever times while flying in and out of Eielson AFB, but none of that even comes close to seeing it and the rest of the terrain in this fashion! Thanks so very much for this video, and I see in this one that Chris has 2423U's panel upgraded, looks awesome! Thanks Josh!!!
I´ll put this video on the top 3 Aviation 101 productions. Footage leave me speechless, just amazing!
Absolutely Incredible!
Amazing footage! Thanks for sharing!!
So awesome, thanks for sharing
Amazing ! No words to describe...
What an epic flight! Beautifully shot! Great collaboration with Chris Palmer from Angle of Attack. Flying around Denali is definitely on my bucket list now.
OH...MY...GOODNESS! That was absolutely AWESOME!!!
Amazing.
My Wife and I did an Alaska tour in May 2013 and did a very similar flight and landed on the Ruth glacier. I remember having the same reaction to the stunning scenery.
You said that the footage does not do it justice. That may be true but your video comes closest to being there than anything else I've seen.
This video here, omg grat editing, music with the visuals just breath taking. Love your videos, always watch and learn, but this one here is amazing Conte t
Amazing. Loved the scenery.
That’s awesome scenery!
I got chills watching this even while typing this. Can't wait to fly out there.
Absolutely Majestic
Long ago I flew my Turbo 210 to Petersburg, Alaska, where I met a local commercial sightseeing pilot who volunteered to fly right seat with me (and two friends in the back) and we flew east across the water and then up into the local glacier. It was amazing.
Just stunning, thank you.
Unbelievable views! Thanks for sharing
Wow!! Got chills watching this! Thank you Josh
Congratulations, beautiful editing, a master piece!
PIC! Excellent mountain aviation!
Stunning footage Josh, great job! I know I can always come to your channel when I need a little bit of encouragement for the day!

Mt McKinley is a beautiful mountain. Beautiful video.
The most breathtaking video ive seen ever! Thank you Josh for making this amazing content for us. Alaska on my bucket list for sure.
I had the thought when I watched the first Alaska series and I just had it again! I really do have to come to Alaska and do some flying there!
Thank you for this yet another great series!
You just added a new place in my bucket list.. it was so beautiful 😍
Josh, I can't thank you enough for posting these videos. I constantly check to see if you've posted anything new and am never disappointed when a new video is uploaded.
Currently I live in Arizona and have done some flying up by Sedona (KSEZ) and while it doesn't compare with what Alaska has, I do understand that breathless feeling.
Love it! The views are amazing!
Wow, those were truly breathtaking pictures. Even only on screen it felt otherworldly. Awesome 👍❤️
Epic - great episode!
Come on man!!! It doesn’t get any better than this! Magical!
Josh, Awesome job on this video. Alaska is a great and wonderful place. Have a great week.
Totally amazing!
Thanks so much for this amazing adventure since I won’t likely make this trip I am enjoying it on the big T.V it was breathtaking. Safe travels.
Out freaking standing !
I’ve been flying commercially the past 10 years and 4,500 hours. What a truly humbling experience. I’m afraid to go back to alaska. I don’t think I could come back to Vermont
There are truly some majestic places. Trying this route, (sim) closest I may ever get, and not even 1% of the impact in real life. Following your trips for sure. Amazing footage.
speechless, thank you for sharing
Amazing.
So cool!!!
Awesome video. I finally got to go to Alaska in September and did a floatplane flight with Rust's. It's one of my favorite videos I have on RUclips! My oldest niece doesn't know it yet but after she finishes flight training and settles into a job, I'm taking us both up to get out seaplane ratings too!
Such amazing views! I hope to be able to do that one day.
alaska well done josh super cool flight 😎
So beautiful! I'll make it up there one day!
AWESOME!
OMG dude! UNREAL!!!
