Armani Code 2023 - Giorgio Armani
    Release date: 2005
    Perfumer: Olivier Polge
    Gender: Unisex
When to use: All year round
    Top Notes: Aldehydes, Mandarin orange
    Heart Notes: Everlasting flower, Patchouli
Base Notes: Vanilla, Suede, Amber, Heliotrope
A SOFT AND VELVET INTERPRETATION OF LEATHER
On the one hand, the scent is as smooth and incredibly bright as light suede, but on the other hand, it disguises itself as a beluga. Like the caviar of the same name, Cuir Beluga represents an idea of ultimate elegance.
It means softness on the skin, refreshed by tangerine notes. The white suede flirts with a seductive immortelle before nestling against the velvety base under the caresses of amber, heliotrope and, above all, vanilla.

I had a similar experience with the Double Vanilla Spirituose. A friend of mine had put it on and I smelled it before he came over to say hello. The scent was present the whole time and whenever he had it on I noticed it.
The Guerlain fragrances are very refined and the longevity is not to be underestimated.

Hey my friend, I admit that Guerlain is my favorite perfume house and I think very highly of their contribution and work to the beauty industry. Of course, many factors are to be considered when wearing a scent and it´s every time subjective to the person wearing it. I have also Fidelis from HDP, Ombre Nomade or Alexandria II - I swear that never they seem to go away from skin or clothes : ))) Talk soon !

@@razvanyke I've got Ombre Nomade and Alexandria II aswell. They outperform Guerlain Fragrances for sure.
But guerlaion Fragrances are not as weak as described on Parfumo. They're just perfectly subtle but still there.
And yeah thats very true that fragrances can be very personal. I for example can not smell MFK's Gentle Fluidity Silver, it's like it is not there for me, my other Friend can not smell Spirituose Double Vanille, he just doesn't get it ith his Nose.

Razvan, I do not think that I have ever smelled Cuir Béluga by Guerlain. The fragrances from the L'Art et la Matiere line are all excellent but I only own Tonka Imperiale from the line. I ALWAYS enjoy watching your fragrance reviews. They are honest, detailed and very informative.

Cuir Beluga is a masterpiece. Buttery vanilla suede based on guerlainade (exclusive Guerlains ingredient). It's sooo strong and has a great projection, I have 2010 and 2022 launch bottles. The difference is that the older one became so thick and dense with time, but new release is reaching it also with no doubt as more it's standing on a shelf. So just give it a time, it's be a beast mode like old batches, the smell is identical.
By the way, try Bois d'Armenie from L'Art et Le Matiere line if you get a chance. It's also a must try.

Hello Artem, that is a good point there, it might be that maceration has not happened yet for the fresh bottles, they get sold right away. To be honest, when they ask so much money for the scents, I expect the perfume to be "ready to use". However, I might give the sample another try and let´s see :) Thanks for commenting!

Always enjoy your reviews..I personally find guerlain fragrances too shy, what I mean is they are very subdued and hiding around and scared to reveal itself..such a shame too because they have some amazing scents,I would love to see guerlain releasing intense versions of all the Lhome lines..

Hello my friend, many thanks 🙏 Exactly that is French perfumery, shy and very close to skin, not a big projecting art of scent. I like Cuir Beluga, Neroli Outrenoir and Tonka Imperiale .. but the price point is too high to justify a bottle. Take care!

I blind bought it. Sprayed once, and gave it away. Very overpriced. Your description is quite accurately. For me it smells like natural vanilla like 90% and the rest some other things. I asked a few around me what they think. Nobody liked it.

Hey my friend, sorry for that and I can relate to that 100% ! I had the same impression as you with my last bottle, I just could not justify the amount of money burried in this bottle of .. vanilla & suede :). What is your favorite scent?
