I think libraries in the UK protect their manga better because your ex-library copies look fine but I have many that are just TRASHED 😂 but as long as I can read it it's ok lol I'm at the point in my manga collecting where I have multiple long series that I'm piecing together. On the upside, it means I can reliably get a good deal on one or the other volume I need used: on the downside, it's not as fun to get manga in the mail when it's volume 13 and you don't even have volume 4 yet so you can't read it :') rip
