Brian if you ever smell Propane again, the procedure is 1.)get the family out, 2.) open all Windows/doors 3.)switch of power.. when call the gas guy.. any spark can light up the place and distribute the house on aprox 4 acres..
I love how Brian’s dogs where sitting way back while he was checking the tank. There like well been nice knowing ya
Congratulate for the new planter
Brian, since we are not eating the Factor meals our enjoyment comes from watching you prepare the meal. The Poke, Poke, Poke and slam it in the microwave is the best part!
nice looking planter. We are still rocking the marliss grain drill to drill wheat and grass into the pastures and hay fields and a one row allis chalmers corn planter for the garden
trees in the middle of field were also used as pull tackle for pulling tre stumps and rocks too clear the land !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Being a truck driver the factor meals are the best way to have a healthy meal. Can't wait to see the planter in action
What a great Fendt!
We had those two types of closing wheels. Switched both to a spiked wheel cause at higher planting speed, 8mph, we were getting air gaps around the seed. FYI
My local propane guy has a program that keeps track of the weather and tells him when I need propane. I never run low or worry about propane anymore… thx for the video!
Awesome looking corn planter Brown Farms
Yep Dad always called those restin trees. They switched out teams there in the shade to keep on working
Need to get on the keep filled program with the LP company!
Your going to like the the White planter. I still run a 5100, definately not as precise as the new ones but back in the day it outperformed everything else on the market.
When you're tank gets low like that you get a faint smell
Sort of like a warning signal to check your percent
When your propane getts low you will start and smell the ethyl mercaptan coming through with the propane itself. The ethyl m is added for detection as propane is odorless. Likel;y no leak, just the bottom of the tank coming through.
Can't wait to see the new planter in the field
When you saw tree's in the middle of the field, it was most likely where all the boulders were put and probably to rest the horses. The bonaza farms would go for miles without any breaks in the fields, in the mid-west.
Can't wait to see you in the field with that new planter.
Many areas, where the trees are there is a large rock so other rocks were also left there.
Great Video Brian, Spring is starting to wind up, thanks for sharing
Don't think they will send me meals to Edinburgh in Scotland UK.😊
But i did click it for you. 😊
Brian shade trees in a field for horses is true my uncle farmed with tractors and horses but used horses in the bush hauling out wood worked great did not tear up the bush
Was trying figure out planter rows how big. Good time to go to 32 rows for 16 row head or 36 row as we have now with 18 row head. It will compliment the new combine getting bigger head verses going faster on field less ear loss.
Beautiful planter ! They should bring you out same tractor, keep it all matching 😉
Thanks for another great video Brian.
It was interesting and informative and enjoyable.
I did go into the factor meal site liked you asked. Will look it over and see what I try think. Thanks. They look good.
Like that new Massey planter. To be honest with you did not know they were back into making planters. Looks like a real nice planter. Will be anxious to see how it does. Keep us in the loop please.
Lime spreading done and now to fertilizer spreading with the three wheeler. Be careful with the three wheeler, have always be cautious
With one of those.
Propane gas leak. Scary. But I think you are right, just low and it was letting you know that. Good thing your man is coming to check it out. Mark your phone calendar to check it every so often. It can buzz you, time to check it.
About it I guess. Thanks for everything Brian. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
PS. I did check the factor site to help you.
We have farm around goose pits in the gound
We had high voltage lines, 2 parallel sets of double poles, running thru our farm. Some had guy-wires for added pita fun.
Brian to keep going if it is a little breezy go half rate and spread half width allows you to keep going as long as the wind is not excessive
Looking forward to seeing the demo planter getting a workout. Have a great weekend!
Good stuff Brian
Thanks 👍
I was told those trees in the middle of the field were to protect you if a storm came up, lightning would strike the tree instead of you. I do like the horse theory also🌩🐴
Hey Brian, on your fireplace, you can paint the inside concrete panels a darker color so they don't stand out so bad. Use either Stove Brite paint or thurmolux paint. I think the charcoal color would look great in there.
Can't wait to see planter in action. Clicked on link might need a few weeks of meals in a month or two . Looks like some good meals so when I need them I will set something up 👍
I automatically hit the like button when I hear Mornin. It kind of my thing. Happy subscriber 😊! Love this channel.
Great video Brian
Keep up the great work Brian
Well done sod buster
Two things Brain, gas in the bottom of the tank always stinks worse than regular gas
That's why I usually fill up at
15 % .
Second clean up around them trees. Great place to eat lunch or take a break. Maybe someday with your grandkids.
You guys take care and stay safe.
another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hiya Brian, Hows things going with you and all of your family...
Just a quick question I have...
Where do all of your Factor Meals get shipped from???
Because I was going to subscribe to them but they won't deliver to my zip code here in Southeast Missouri...
Thanx for everything, but most importantly for sharing with us the viewers, All Your Great Content...
Yep the trees were for horses there a guy near me that is not Amish but still does a lot with horses
My tank is hooked to cell data so when my tank is low it shows up on my suppliers computer.
As I always do. Thumbs up before I started watching your video. And yes I will click on that link.
Thank you for sharing with us
Is the Massey drill a sunflower drill with Massey stickers or a Kuhn 🤔
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice looking planter. Did you get it with hydraulic down force? If you have somewhat varying soil conditions, then it will pay to have that as it nearly guarantees even seed placement.
Also, since you will be planting with the Fendt with the LSW tires, see if you can set up an experiment where you monitor the yield difference between rows planted in the tire tracks v/s in pinch rows between the dual planter tires, assuming they are not the same.
i have a agco white massey 9812 planter for 7yrs know been a good planter but if i get a new one it would be a john deere just a lot better technology and better hydraulics components agco lacks in both.
Buy u some o rings and 5 gallons of hydraulic oil yo take to the field with the deere
Brain I thank you need to start with a team of horses and put GPS on there ass to steer them.😂😂😂
Hey Brian if it helps you in the future your spread pattern will be good up to 25 mph wind. It will shift but your pattern will be ok. I have been spreading fertilizer for 20 years for a retail store and we have done a lot of tests to see how different wind speeds affect broadcasting fertilizer. Not trying to say you were wrong or anything just thought I could give you some helpful information.
How many rows is that Massey planner
Good video
Thanks for the visit
Thanks for the video!
Won't miss any of that ag leader junk from the last planter!
great video. thank you
whete you able to pick up any extra land?
Yea, tank gets too low drops pressure then you smell it. Check with your supplier and see if they can put a automatic tank monitor on it that works by satelite for auto refills, mine cost nothing extra. As far as I know.
😳😳😳😳 Brian quit looking a gift horse in the mouth you're pretty damn lucky quit wishing for something you ain't going to have and be thankful for what you have and if you don't know what that is it's that wonderful family you come home to every night❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why did you redo that JD planter to trade it off? Did you get your value out of those ag leader parts?
How do you get clean up your dropped lime pile’s enough that it doesn’t burn anything you try to plant there?
When you get to the bottom of the tank, the and the name of the stuff that they inject into propane to give it that stink is more at the bottom of the tank so when you run that low, that’s what you smell
In Az., we bury most propane tanks w/ just a foot of the filler part sticking out, nicer for landscaping. I will never buy a house that uses propane, as w/the cost and propane gas fireplaces are a lot dirtier than natural gas. I hope w/ the boiler system you put in works much better than my experience w/ gas forced air fueled by propane. Also, propane doesn't burn quite as hot as natural gas, don't know why, but that is what the propane guy told me.
Quite the opposite. Natural gas contains samples of arsenic, lead, mercury and many forms of acid. When filtered, the liquid becomes a hazard waste. If not filtered and used as fuel in co-gen power stations the aluminum pistons erode under 400 hours.
40 cf of propane equals appx 90 cf of Nat gas
The easiest way to find a gas leak is with a matchstick! Great video Brian.
Do you ever use animal waste for fertilizer on your farm? Is livestock common out your way? In our area its commonly used all over especially chicken manure.
Hard to get here
My granddad once told me that is called a mother in-law tree
👍
Was it just low on propane?😊. Love the video.
A new MF 9S would be great to plant with !!!
Are the factor meals loaded with preservatives and sodium usually problem with most quick meals easy to prepare but not good for you health wise.
Brian, please ask BJ how many times has he watched Draft Day the movie?
I won’t buy anything but a 379 long hood again. Rides nicer than a Cadillac, sharpest turning angle on the market (it turns almost as sharp as my f350), and handles heavy loads better than any other brand I’ve been in. The 389 isn’t bad either just I prefer the feel of the 05 and older dash.
Older western stars are nice too back when they were kenworths with a thick “off-road” frame before freightliner bought and ruined then
It’s a good channel mate from Australia
cool planter but the clear white seed hose isn’t gonna last long
What does lime cost you per ton dump in field.
Good video.
Put a gas detector in your house ,Fire alarm ,CO and gases Natural and propane they even detect gasoline and butane . Can't believe you don't have them. They are law in Ontario Canada .The fire department does checks every October house to house.Every year they come and test them and even give spare battery if you need them. Scary hearing that, wake up to a gas smell, whoa .
Why worry about it? Get on keep full.
😂😂😂😂 of course I want you to get it up😅😅😅😅😅
Hope you dont mind i did not click to that mealcrap, otherwise great content as usual thanks again for the video and have a good day greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
All good
Where’s the demo planter from?
Agco
Where did you say that link is for the weather station was ?
shop.weatherflow.com/?ref=Pyt7yT-kLL9GLA
Do you still have the Challenger tractor?
I’m still using your old 20/20 on our bean planter. 😂😂😂
If your tank gets too low you start pulling in more skunk juice smell because it gets too concentrated.
just like roadrunner and wiley coyote coyote went into a cave with a cigar and boom going into orbit lol.
So now you know one tank of LP doesn’t last all winter! 😂
Mornin
No demo tractor to pull the demo planter?? You should have asked for the Larson's combo deal.
Good luck spreading your potash Brian
🇨🇦😊
Look at the dogs! They can tell there's something wrong
No pressure to hold the valves close...😅
Maybe to many Factor meal gas you smell
boy you guys are going balls deep with agco. We LOVE out massey precision planter, but our agco dealer has the worst service of any brand we work with......
Thats the same problem we have with agco products, love the products but service is god awful
That’s the way the raptor should be delivered. None of that horsing around with a loader and excavator.
TROUT RIVER Shuttle Floor trailer
#RossCountySilverLegend #MunicipalBob #SendIt #BobbyJrsMusings #KaylasBabyMaker
The hate from Deere goobers. It’s hilarious
Tell Kayla to not be lighting her cigars when she smells propane!
Only for you buddy I clicked the link lol 😂
Yep, did the same.
massey planter. what happened to fendt.
