Just the name and colors only. Massey Ferguson was absorbed/bought out/eliminated, along with multiple other farm equipment makers such as White, Gleaner, Allis Chalmers, decades ago.
@@MrSnyper360 yeah, I know on cole the corn stars channel they use a newer White that looks like this. He admitted it doesn't singulate corn very well, used it only to plant beans last year and rented a used Deere for corn. The best corn planter I've ever seen though are mamy of the Case IH models
It’s a great three way partnership. First, you do a great job displaying, explaining and demonstrating manufacturers products. Second, you subscribers support your channel because of your content. Third, manufacturers benefit from the exposure and support your channel provides them as a cost effective marketing method. That’s a Win-Win-Win. 👍 👏
Good morning Brian I just got something that you need to look into because I just found this out in Europe diesel fuel. They run additives to help with the injection pumps the EGR valves and keep the valves and piston rings from carbon up because of the EGR valve to keep them clean, there’s two ways you can do this. You can do it by putting attitude in yourself or you can set up an injector so while you’re pumping the fuel it’s meter and in the additive and the people I’ve talked to said it really helps in Europe because all this high dollar admission stuff on these engines now, even your big trucks just wanted to give you food for thought man something to look into. Keep you from spending a fortune, Grace and peace
I'm certainly interested in hearing how you succeed planting your seed! Great video and thanks for sharing this information with us! Happy planting ‼️ 🤠
That’s great you guys get to season demo this planter! Perfect world they would have sent a MF 8740S tractor to pull it! Have a great farming year Brown Farms.
We looked at a Massey Ferguson, Horsch and a Kinze planter. We ended up buying the Kinze planter because it was the lowest price and it had a weight distribution system on it.
My x uncle was Delta Force, but he only planted lead, laser targets and plastix. His yield depended on precision in difficult terrain. So in a way he was farmer and the tech he used has trickled down to the farming manufacturers. Lol seriously though....Nice planter...hopefully it does a good job for you eventhough the haters will say it's not green, blue or red.
Talk about wires...the only wire on the 4 row planter was the one you yanked to drop and raise it. Now where does the 'plates' go? Gotta have couple dozen different sizes! My job was to burn the fertilizer and corn bags. LOL!😂
Thanks for another great video Brian. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable. That Massey planter sure looks the part. These precision planters seem to be the one to have right now. Didn’t know Massey made this but guess it used to be a White piece of equipment, now converted to Massey. Wish I totally understood this precision planter technique but from what the Massey people were showing it does seem fairly easy to operate and setup. The planter mechanism itself seemed easy to assemble and check if necessary. Will be anxious to see it operate and put the seed into the ground. Anxious to see how you get along with it. Really looks like A nice piece of equipment. Thanks Brian and the Brown family for sharing this new planter with us. You all take care and be safe. Have a good day. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Well those speed tubes can be nice but u better stay away from lakes cause once u get a little moisture in them it obstructs a sensor in there that u have to clean. I've had many apart cleaning them but exactly something they're to blame for just keep in mind to try and keep the dry
Fancy! Evaluating the Precision equipment will be interesting. You had enough tech support so it should spill some seed at a minimum. AND that thing is noisy!
At one point, Massey bought planters from Allis Chalmers and threw red paint on the frames. Now it's a former White, but under the Agco umbrella of same stuff, different paint. Hope it works for you, but I know it all depends on the dealer support. That is colorblind. A poor dealer isn't getting a second chance, but a good dealer takes care to keep your business.
So true, it doesn't matter what colour the piece of equipment it's going to suffer a breakdown & that's where you need a good dealer to get you going again ASAP. 😉
Somebody should have told agco that the big MF on the side of equipment doesn’t inspire confidence. They own a long list of of brands that would be a better choice. White and Heston are a couple that come to mind.
Brian. Do they have technology where you have a field that has really good spots and not so good spots of soil that will reduce the plant population to help a thinner planting population produce more than a heavy plant population? I know you have been doing prescription fertilizing but with those costs so astronomical is that a technology or thought process you have thought of ?
I’ve heard that massy is a good planter but I’ve heard people running away from precision planting also be interesting to see how it works for you good luck
not sure what you are putting down with the strip till bar i know you called it i think mez10 not sure what all is in mez10 but are you going to put any 28% in row to give the corn a kick start
Excited to get planting season kicked-off!
Have a great and safe spring planting season
Massey Ferguson....glad to see a return of them.
Just the name and colors only. Massey Ferguson was absorbed/bought out/eliminated, along with multiple other farm equipment makers such as White, Gleaner, Allis Chalmers, decades ago.
So far, it is just a re-brand. My dad looked at a white planter (2018), and they were too expensive at the time. He ended up with a Deere.
I'm pretty sure that Coles planter is older and a couple of generations back. The CaseIH that they pull with the 340 is newer. @sew1194
That Massey is a frame with Precision planter parts. Doesn’t even compare to Cole’s planter.

Thanks. Very interesting 🤔
Nice to see new equipment/technology actually in the field. Thanks Massey Ferguson for your support.
As a viewer of your channel, just love seeing the new equipment.
Glad you enjoy it!
Man that Fendt and massey corn planting rig is awesome!!!!
Another interesting great video Brian and Bob!!
It's nice to see some different brands of equipment on your channel. So many channels just have all the same brand.
Hope it works well for you!
Brian and Brown Farms thanks for sharing your operation with us!
Nice planter. Looking forward to seeing it plant!
I enjoy the vids brain and stay safe
Justin is a great teacher and resource from precision. 👍👍
Massey is putting out some pretty awesome gear now!!!
Youre very welcome, looking forward to see the planter in the field and hearing the working words, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Nice planter Brian. I hope it serves you well. Can't wait to see it in the field.
Always happy when you get new toys on farm
Nice looking set up. Can't wait to see it plant!
Great planter just want transfer weight to wings
Nice looking planter😊
Go Brown Family!
Big thanks to MF. May it put more food on the table.

Thank you for the video. Great explanation of how it works. Looking forward on how this planter helps your seeding this year.
I'm certainly interested in hearing how you succeed planting your seed! Great video and thanks for sharing this information with us! Happy planting ‼️ 🤠
COOL planter!! 😎 Thanks 😊.
Glad to. See. Massey And. White still in business. Provides some completion to J.D. an. INT
Bob is like a kid at Christmas

Love seeing the MF planter!!

Enjoy the channel. Seeing y'all nice equipment and learning about farming. Dang Bryan you a big dude👍🏾
Hopefully "The Sassy Massey " will work and no problems. Now if the Ohio weather will start to cooperate so you guys can get the seed in the ground.
So Precision made a Planter.
Makes me happy to see someone using something besides John Deere. You should try some more Case IH though.
Always comes down to dealer support
He had a case 1240 and 1245 planter before, I remember when he pulled it with a Steiger, neat to see different brands at work though
It seems they have a great agco dealer
Totally agree on that...@@durflinger92
@@durflinger92😊😊
Good looking piece of kit
😂😂😂 If corn starts growing in that asphalt you need to buy that planter🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😮
Talk about wires...the only wire on the 4 row planter was the one you yanked to drop and raise it. Now where does the 'plates' go? Gotta have couple dozen different sizes! My job was to burn the fertilizer and corn bags. LOL!😂
Can’t wait to hear Bob’s comments
thats awesome, you are getting the same weather that we are here in Vermont
wow your ceiling lights are bright almost to bright snow blindness😎😎
Yeah I had the camera on a tripod and didn’t realize how bad it was
Wow, not everyone gets to use a 350k planter for a season at no cost. Hope it works out for you.
Keep adding onto those row units it's almost free.
The weather has been very unpredictable this spring. We just had a good frost and and it was just 75 the other day.
Oh my goodness, no Mornin .
You should notice I hit the like 👍 button anyway. Happy subscriber 😊!
Mornin. 😎😎

Have a good day.

Great video. Good luck with the "new" planter!
I wish we had Agco support near me. I'd happily consider a Fendt
Send some of that rain down here to South Central Kansas will ya
Looks great. Looking forward to seeing it work.
Thanks for the video.
Bobs going to like this to much it will be permanent for next year heck he might even want to go straight to planting beans when corn is done lol.
Watched my dad plant corn one row at a time with a mule till a neighbor bought a 2 row for a 3 point hitch on a gas model case tractor.
Well those speed tubes can be nice but u better stay away from lakes cause once u get a little moisture in them it obstructs a sensor in there that u have to clean. I've had many apart cleaning them but exactly something they're to blame for just keep in mind to try and keep the dry
Wet spring might be a problem.
Yup, they're pretty sensitive
Massey in name Only That is what was a White Farm Equipment planter.Very accurate planters...
You should try a horsch corn planter
And to think people used to use a stick to poke a hole in the soil and drop one kernel at a time and then cover and pack it with their foot.
LOL!! d'as proper funny
Ran White planters for years, hope it works out for you!!!
Here we go
One of the available options you don’t have that I recommend is furrow force for row closing
Neighbor just took all his off
Picking up rocks but there is a solution
I need a close up of the row cleaners
Good stuff
Mornin’
Awesome 👍
Hey Bradnd playing on Eric 👋 god bless
Great Video Brian & MF, a very impressive piece of kit, thanks for sharing
Nice
Good video.
Did you count the row units to make sure you got 24. Years ago a farmer I know had a new planter delivered and it was missing a row unit.
Awesome planter
great video
What’s up Brian NICE
That is a mighty fine looking outfit.
Good video
What the price tag with something like this 😳
Fancy! Evaluating the Precision equipment will be interesting. You had enough tech support so it should spill some seed at a minimum. AND that thing is noisy!
The Gleaner Gu ru. made an appearance.
Hey Brian, just wait till the planner breaks down where you gonna get your parts from
My agco dealer. Same place our tractors and combine came from
Nice looking planter! How many rows? I am guessing 30 rows....
Is the planter a high speed planter?

Lol funny story, this was a white planter 2 years ago. They changed nothing but the shade of red and the sticker on the tank.
Some of us are hoping they bring back Chalmers orange tractors...
Hello!
Mornin
Hope this new planter treats you rite. I know the boss man was not happy last season.
I like the MF color

Who is talking about case ih . Has to be a welker .
I’ve heard that massy is a good planter but I’ve heard people running away from precision planting also be interesting to see how it works for you good luck
New equipment is always fun! Don’t forget though, that the 11th commandment states all corn planters should be green and yellow! 😁
I’d pre buy some spare parts it is new just in case
How is a 24 row planter going to run in 16 row strip till
Been doing it for 4 years now
Does it come with extra circuit boards?
not sure what you are putting down with the strip till bar i know you called it i think mez10 not sure what all is in mez10 but are you going to put any 28% in row to give the corn a kick start
