I got hurt at Amazon 5 years ago and was denied workers comp even had to have surgery on my right forearm was denied because they said I had to see their workers comp doctor
I got hurt Dec 2nd and went to go see my own doctor now Amazon is making me wait (Accomanation team) to do light duty work. In the meantime I have my doctor note but yet they still made me do work against my doctors will. I have noted down how there AmCare didn't treat me and yet tried to avoid me.
So my wife injured herself told her managers. Went to get doctor. She has a back strain. Filed the claim and now she's stuck. They want her to have a doctor fill out a form. She isn't sure what doctor to go to since they didn't assign one. She has her own insurance thru Kaiser.
Don't see the amazon doctor inside the building, they will give you ibuprofen and send you on your way. See what outside doctor that's part of sedgwick and amazon of choice.
I’m a driver for amazon and I fell down a customers step and broke my ankle. I’m currently on workers comp and have a 3rd party claim against the home owner. Id love to be able to learn more about this on my own time if anybody has some knowledge or can point me to a good resource I’d greatly appreciate it
I am in Texas and got hurt at Amazon about 3 wks ago. Went to their doctor and doing light duty work, which is dusting the warehouse. That’s now putting pressure on my good hand and arm. Should I hire a lawyer? Or wait for works comp to get in contact with me?
A co worker pinned me between 2 carts tore off my bicep, tore my labrum, a back muscle and 3 herniated discs in my neck. Im going into my 3rd year of not working, I've had 2 IMEs( they they have tried to hide) its been months since my last IME and I've yet to see the report. I've already had 2 surgeries and I've been told I need another plus pain management. But they keep denying everything. Is this ever going to end?
@@bygerber1 the same, my range of motion hadn't improved. Both IMEs were scheduled by Sedgwick. The first one took 2 months to get back. It said I needed a girdle surgery bc of scar tissue. My surgeon said I needed pain management for the 3 herniated discs in my neck. IME also said I couldn't get any gainful employment without the surgery. They scheduled my 2nd one for February 24th and I still haven't heard anything. They just stopped paying me. Can they keep sending me to IMEs until they get the one they want?

That is correct in the state of Georgia. However, you get to pick from a list of doctors.

This is pretty typical of what we have seen from Amazon in Georgia. It does not mean you don't have ways to fight back through an attorney.
@@bygerber1 thanks.
@@bygerber1 not many attorneys will go after amazon. thats how these folks roll. meanwhile file a complaint with osha or mosha

I do not handle Texas cases, but I always believe and it benefits you to speak with an attorney

That’s an excellent question. How are you feeling since the last surgery? Who requested the IME?
